Do you know the Diana encounter story? Michael Jackson, when in the UK, got a chance to meet and perform to the Royal Family. Back then, the now King Charles was married to Princess Diana. Michael shook Charles’ hand, bowed to the Queen, and when Diana came up to him, she asked “are you playing Dirty Diana on the concert tonight?” He answered “No, I took it out of the concert as a form of respect to you…” (you can imagine why, especially through the song title) and then, after answering that, Diana said to him “You’re kidding!? That’s my favorite song!” Michael would’ve rearranged the schedule to put the song back and perform it on the show, but it was too late, and he had to leave it out; just imagine how iconic it would be to have Lady Di of Wales on the front row, and Michael Jackson singing Dirty Diana?!?! People would go WILD! THE KING OF POP 🤘
