The patient has explained so well , and he is now leading a quality life. People who suffer from this, would realize what is best for them.

True, it's only those who suffer who know the intensity of pain, and those who are relieved of it who appreciate a pain-free life better!

Dr My mom is suffering from trigeminal neuralgia from past 10 yrs. I am thinking of a gamma knife non invasive surgery. Is it effective?

Sir why sometimes MVD failed and what patient do after his/her MVD failed
@brainandspinesurgery
@brainandspinesurgery 4 жыл бұрын
This is a very interesting question and unfortunately has a very long answer. That is why going to an experienced neurosurgeon with a good team is very important in the first place. A re-do MVD can be done.

sir how much incision (cms) will u make sir and what is advantage of endoscopic MVD .can u please reply to this comment sir so that i will get some idea to move on ...
@brainandspinesurgery
@brainandspinesurgery 4 жыл бұрын
MVD is usually done through a microscope. the incision is typically about 2 to 3 inches long, but is within the hairline. that means that when the hair grows back, the incision is not visible at all!. It is similar for endoscopic as well. Endoscopy is just an additional tool used during MVD, not a sole procedure by itself.

Thaks for your response sir. 1) Will the hair grow on the incision area or not ? 2) After the post surgery is there any chance to remove the stitches permanently? 3) I have already diagnosed again will you diagnose before my surgery? sir please try to answer these questions (ASAP).
