@@MichaelNovak1987 Dom Joly himself is proper PC. He had a mental breakdown, sadly. Lost his edge. But today, TH wouldn't get away with any of the stuff they got away with 20 years ago. Ldn has changed so much. Getting permission from councils, big businesses, resturants etc - none of them would allow it because of Internet, social meda backlash and brand protection. They most likely would get sued. It really is a marker for how seriously society takes itself now compared to then. There would be outrage, sartical humour and naunce is dead.

Wow, incredible nostalgia trip for me. I was only 11 when this came out and I loved it. This was at a time when I only had 5 tv channels but everything on Friday was perfect. The music of this programme was distinctive, so much so that this video is the greatest nostalgia trip for me, I will never have those care free days back. I can simply just do second best by watching this video and have another glass of whiskey. Thank you for uploading this.

The French skit reminds me of when I went to learn Gaelic online to surprise Irish relatives upon going back to visit from Australia, with my son. Turns out that they were teaching me to say: " You look like a stout lad. How would you like to fight an Australian..?...", and the like, the whole time. It was an official looking website and all, and looked like the real deal. Cracked us up when we (luckily) worked out what we were being taught to say.....

Thanks great upload, I first saw this when I lived in England. I wish it had lasted more season but I guess it makes sense that Dom Joly get fed up of doing the skits over and over, but I never got tired of it, it's allways HILARIOUS!!!
