In this full course, we will cover all the major topics of Trigonometry. Trigonometry is typically part of a Pre-Calculus course. Here, we will learn about the six Trigonometric functions (sine, cosine, cosecant, secant, tangent, and cotangent). We will then move on to study the unit circle, how to graph trigonometric functions, how to work with trigonometric identities, how to solve trigonometric equations, how to solve right triangles and oblique triangles (law of sines and cosines), how to work with vectors, and then finish up by discussing complex numbers in Trigonometry.

You don't know how much I have learned from your courses in Algebra1/Algebra2/College Algebra and how much I have missed from school. If you were there 13 years ago, I would have been an Engineer/Scientist by now. I had so much trouble understanding the material in school. Sure, we had patrickJMT, but I didn't understand one bit from his videos, and the video format was all over the place. I am doing this to prepare myself for Linear Algebra and get on with 3D Engine programming.

@MilkyWayGalaxy1000 There are quite a few additional topics that are going in as I work my way down. Maybe 10-12 additional topics, if I had to guess. I will probably put in a small section on limits at the end but I do plan to cover that topic in a very detailed way during a Calculus I course. If I can ever get the time to do it.

Sorry for the loads of questions.
@Greenemath
@Greenemath 6 ай бұрын
@MilkyWayGalaxy1000 I don't have any specific times for when stuff would be done. Currently, it's a bit hard to have enough time to grind out material on a regular basis. Here is what I hope to add to the course: Combination of Graphing Transformations, Graphing Polynomials, Graphing Rational Functions, Asymptotes, Linear Programming, Mathematical Induction, and maybe limits. This is in addition to filming all of the practice test solution videos which take a very long time to create.

sir may I ask abt the even functions of cos (-theta) = cos(theta) if we have -2π/3 as our theta wouldn't the cos of that would be negative as well since it's on the third quadrant
@Greenemath
@Greenemath 6 ай бұрын
I think you are misunderstanding the idea and getting caught up on the notation. We are saying that the cosine value for both will be the same. cos (-2π/3) = -1/2 (this angle is coterminal with 4π/3) cos (2π/3) = -1/2 cos(-2π/3) = cos(2π/3) from the even-odd identities In each case, the cosine value is -1/2, which is the same. Try cos(π/3) = cos(-π/3) on your own. What do you find is the cosine value in each case?

This course covers the standard topics of Trigonometry that you would find in a Precalculus course. There's always going to be more topics as no book or course is going to cover everything.

Hi, sorry to bother you, but can you explain why x^2 + y^2 over r^2 is equal to 1?
@Greenemath
@Greenemath Ай бұрын
r^2 = x^2 + y^2 by definition. That means you are dividing the same non-zero number by itself, which is always 1.

Hello Professor Greene. Hello Professor Greene. I know this is a complete trigonometry video course and I was following it through your website. I was calculating and making plans how I will study it every day so I was tryna click the #141 and #142 links but they won't work ( I can't click them and see the materials )
@Greenemath
@Greenemath 4 ай бұрын
#139, #141, and #142 haven't been created yet. Those are topics that are somewhat related to Trigonometry but more for Pre-Calculus. I am working my way down there but I have some additional topics to add before I can do that. I should be able to release a Pre-Calculus course by summer of 24. Provided A.I. can't just make a full course by that point. Did you figure out your question? The two angles were vertical angles so they have the same measure. In other words, they are both 97°.
@oabcde.
@oabcde. 4 ай бұрын
Can't wait they are very helpful! Yes, I was able to figure out the question, I misunderstood what the question was saying bc it did not mention finding all its angles but rather just gave marked angles. Will you ever do Linear Algebra in the future? I feel like it is one of the most suggested topics that people try to find (from good teachers like you)@@Greenemath

@BangYongguk-sf8ly This is a pure Trigonometry course, so it contains more Trigonometry versus an Algebra II course. It's really up to your situation to see if you need to go this deep. I would guess, probably not in 10th grade. It could be useful for Pre-Calculus, which covers Trigonometry in more detail.
