Thanks for the good content and production quality. Two minor typos: 2:31 -> 8/10 = 0.8, not 0.5 18:10 onwards -> -2bd, not +2bd

How long do you think it takes me to make one of these videos? Drop your wild guess below. Next week there will be even more triangles as we'll discuss how they make up 3D models in games.

It takes me approx 30 hours spread across a week. Also, a friend of mine (who's a math genius) takes his time to provide feedback or point out mistakes.

Man , truly thank you so so so so so so so so so much, like really, I think , I don't recall exactly but , I think this is the first time I see math like this, so clean , so understandable and with details too(allot of it) . math antics also gived me this view to math , man thank you so much 💐💐

At 8:47 when you talked about the tangent axis, I was like Aaha 😂😂.. something nobody talks about, takes it for granted. I couldn't fully understand it. But glad you explicitly mentioned it. Thank you. 🌹🌹🌹I stand clear now 😂

Things going over my head after half of the video. My question is how do you convert the quotient into degrees? Like when you divide the opposite by hypotenuse and get a result how it converts to an angle degrees in the triangle?

Well,can anyone explain me? Why does the graph at 11:55 of Sin, goes to +ve 1 to -ve 1. It only goes to +ve 1 at 90°, only goes to -ve 1 at 270°. Why so?

17:20 expression to find the angle of alpha, how did the 2bc is in the denominator and is a positive? Where did the negative go from the original expression?
@FloatyMonkey Жыл бұрын
I just rewrote the formula myself to prove this is actually correct and to rule out there wasn’t another mistake with a minus like the one at 18:10 as stated in the description. Anyways, here goes. a² = b² + c² - 2bc cos α a² - b² - c² = -2bc cos α (a² - b² - c²) / -2bc = cos α The next steps answer your question. We multiply the fraction on the left with -1/-1 followed by a rearrangement of the terms in the numerator. This results in a minor simplification if you will. (-a² + b² + c²) / 2bc = cos α (b² + c² - a²) / 2bc = cos α α = arccos ((b² + c² - a²) / 2bc)

@@FloatyMonkey "We multiply the fraction on the left with -1/-1". If you multiply -1/-1 on the left, shouldn't you also multiply it on the right too?
@FloatyMonkey Жыл бұрын
Technically yes, but if you simplify -1/-1 you get 1, and multiplying a number by 1 just gives the number itself. You might wonder why we bother with the -1/-1 to begin with. It's just a trick to 'simplify' the fraction on the left hand side i.e. remove the minus from the denominator.

@huseyinkagantoy5469 Жыл бұрын
we still can't solve the integral of some basic mathematical functions For example, although we can calculate the result of the integral e^sin(x) dx numerically, we cannot express it symbolically. Mathematics is not a science, it is a language. #math #mathematics #integral #sinus #cosinus
