I'm sure you hear this a lot, but I'd be very interested in any washout type dog you need to home. Those that won't bite well ect. I lived with a "washout" for 13 years and miss her every day. That dog saved my life in a very rough time.

Just joined Mike's online training for my rescued German Shepherd from a cattle ranch that they were going to shoot after he ran down a deer & broke it's neck at 13 months old. I'm the go to dog training guy around here & have watched a ton of training stuff. Mike is hands down the best by far. Looking forward to going to the next level. Thanks, Mike in advance.

I really don't think that most people understand how much work goes into training dogs. I use to have a pack of Catahula and a breed of Pit/Mastiff and I would literally have to work those dogs weekly from pups until they were retired. It fucks them up if they aren't doing the job they were bred to do and if an owner isn't doing their part. I've seen dog that were bought, already trained, not even get out of the truck. Thousands of dollars and man hours wasted because the owner wouldn't work the dog. Training them keeps them safer as well. As you know....thanks for these videos. I'm sure we all can learn a lot from them.

My pup is about 18 months old, Shepherd/Sharpen/Rottweiler Mix. Very confident, extremely athletic, very friendly but not aggressive, highly driven, keeps a consistent roving perimeter with great recall, and *highly* situationally aware. Not a barker, more of an observer. He does pull when on leash and will run to another dog when off leash, so we're going to work on that using Mike's book.

I love the training...I have an 8 month old female and I travel every week for work, she rides in her crate and stays in the hotel while I go to work. Very mellow for a Malinois, she always lets me know when someone is outside my room. I didn't think she'd make a protection dog but I promise if someone walks up on me and she senses my nervousness she gets very protective, if I stay calm she stays calm. Nothing better than knowing people in big towns that hangout around hotels will not come close when they see her!

My father was a Police dog handler (uk) and then instructor for over 30 years. Most of the time he had German shepherds through the 80s, then into the late 90s early 00s they changed to the Belgium Malinois and the difference was impressive. The agility and overall capabilities of the malinois was so far superior. Brilliant dogs

Hey Mike, some years ago I imported, trained, handled and certified a Malinois with FEMA MO-TF 1. Best experience of my life. He (Bodie) and I traveled the country working rubble piles, amusement parks, buildings both occupied & unoccupied.....not many disasters happen in our backyards. He was my best buddy and some of the best memories are just doing what you did and let them be just a dog hanging in the back yard for a bit. Can't wait for more videos like this one. A shout out to those washed out dogs :). Had a Lackland washout who ended up working at Wildlife Waystation. She never once hurt a human but told all the critters including hybrids, mustangs and bears that she was Queen. Had to make money but couldn’t kennel her in a back yard as a pet so cried my heart out and left her with a great guy. She’s buried out there in Tujunga Canyon, still the most intelligent dog I’ve ever owned. Sasha, you left paw prints on my heart forever. Great video, appreciate your calm.

Brother the dog stuff, warrior dogs, training, what you look for, the first few days, videos are the key. It’s only a Matter of time. I can’t wait to see the transition of this seemingly harmless dog show it’s primal side. This is your niche. You can play the soldier angle, podcast, guns, etc but the warrior dog angle is the key. Can’t wait to see you truly blow up.
