Theres no reason a bank would try to arrest him even with an obvious fake check. The bank would simply have you endorse it and would put a lien on the money until the other account info was verified.. then when it came back as bad they would simply deduct the money, cancel the lien, charge your account for the check handling fees and fines which is usually like 3 to 30$ then you would get a letter in the mail saying of such and would say if any illegal activity is thought to be happening than they have the right to put the lien on the money and to call for questions.. now if you had a fake check that was from that same bank than that would flag the system when they ran it and would be grounds for arrest on counterfit check.. because its from their own bank..

Is that to suggest those being scammed aren't really educated? Or they're just chasing something. One is chasing money. The other wants a need. Maybe love, job, etc.
@shellyr39383 жыл бұрын
@@obinnaobiekwe4910 I appreciate your question. What I understand about scamming is the need for naivety to proceed. The person must be naive to the operation to fall for it. That does NOT mean they are stupid. Quite the opposite. To be naive means to be lacking worldly wisdom and/or informed judgment. By educating people how these scams work, they can then make an informed decision about how they proceed. Simply put, educate to help those who aren't in on the job at hand. I meant no offense by saying education is key. I hope that clarifies what I wrote. Best wishes to you ❤

Glenn, you should also know that the more the time they put in this act, the better the chances they have to make money out of the victims. That's the reason they keep doing it.

Yes, agreed. It hits home because this nearly happened to me some time ago. It was for a remote job and I was so desperate to leave a job I had that drained the life and soul out of me that I didn't see the signs. It was for a remote assistant at a big-name pharma company. I ended up losing a bit of money over it, and it was terrifying. It's good these guys educate us on scams and how to spot/avoid them

Hi guys, I really like this video, I’m learning a lot. As a retired senior, I decided to look for a part time job, and as soon as I finish, toons of information pop up in my e-mail list. The offers were very tentative $$$$ and as you said no experience necessary, no personal interview, no experience etc. So I started to wonder why too many “companies” want to hire someone who they don’t even know their qualifications?? Well thank God I never give my personal information to anyone of them, and your video today opened my eyes really well. Thank you so much God bless you and keep helping seniors like me. Thank you so much.

So with the checks, they use actual bank checks that the accounts have been closed. I received a random check in the mail and I called the actual company that the check was drawn from and they said it was a scammer. Those checks were stolen and they had to close the account.

You would be shocked how much personal info people put on a job application….SSN, DOB, Address, even their damn bank account info for depositing their “pay”. I always wondered how long it it would take scammers to figure that out and start using online jobs to lure in unsuspecting people.
