You can adjust the tolerance option on setting. It depends upon the types of survey you are doing.

My trimble m3 got over speed problem. How to fix it?

That may be due to dust particles entering into the disk(CCD). For this you need to take device to service centre and clean the disk. Other reason may be due to CCD issue which may need to be replaced.

Over speed problem needs to be repaired on lab. It may be due to problem on CCD unit.

Open Trimble access software, - go to general survey, -create or open new job -go to stake out - setup station - go to lines -under stake option, you will find station/offset from line - fill up the required parameter and you can proceed further
