Hi Barry, thanks for the vid. Never thought of using a pipe cutter......works a treat. I have just started using a .600 pure lead, cast from one of Martin at x ring services molds, over 63 grains of 2f powder and my groups have shrunk by half ( 6in at 100m ) if I do my bit. I use the 577 slug to fire form the brass and from there on in I no longer need a press to re size the brass or seat the bullet, just push them in by hand and the lube holds them in place a treat. So far I am at 15 reloads with the Magtek brass and they look like new. Draw back is that my rounds dont fit my Dads snider so I have to keep his cases separate from mine. He cant be arsed to reload his own but he is soon over to collect his as soon as I have them ready....... Both rifles wont chamber a 2" case so I trim them to 1.9" and were good to go. Thanks again for the tip. Best wishes from the UK.

Great video very educational I myself don’t have a Lathe or anything else, I use the same method as you with the pipe cutting and a socket range Works great. What is the dimension of a 577/450 casing after trimming,I thought it was 2.283 I don’t want to make a mistake As I’m a beginner Looking forward to hearing from you Alain
