He didn't mention how the myrtle topiaries come from begin with. Should we buy a normal myrtle plant and then trim it into this shape? Also, is Myrtle better than boxwood because we can enjoy blossoms too?

Great info. I'm about to do mine. The smaller one had more leaf drop. I kept mine in the kitchen and boy did they dry out quick. My motto now is water them before they need it! Thanks Brandon.💚🌳

Do you have to trim them. I kindof like how they naturally look?

Great Video! I'm thinking about starting topiaries. It seemed intimidating, but between your video and Linda Vater, I think I'm going to try it! Also, love, love, love, your greenhouse! Trying to figure out a way to do something similar at my own home, and yours is great inspiration!

Thanks Brandon 😊 I would like to get another myrtle. I had one years ago and killed it. I probably didn't water it enough.

I just picked up a myrtle and am completely new to gardening. How did you get your fertilizer to grow green at the bottom?

Hi Brandon. I have one and I live in Massachusetts. So, I keep it inside house in Winter. But now it starts to grow so much. Is it better to wait spring for trim it?

Brandon can tell me how often do you feed them and what feed you use. Thank you 🙏
@BrandonLarkRoberts3 жыл бұрын
I typically just use water from my pond to feed them. I’m sure you could use a fish emulsion concentrate if you don’t have a pond. I typically water mine with the pond water once a month.

Love this video. Where do you find your blue and white pots? They are beautiful

I just did a trim on my Eugenia and was wondering if I could make more plants from them cuz topiaries are not cheap.

Brandon, what is the name of the myrtle you like and where do you get yours? I’m in Nashville and would love to start working with Myrtle. Thanks for your videos you do a great job of teaching!!! 🥰
