It's very common for vulkan to be choppy for a 15-20 sec and then smooth out

This is such a great review! Said something along the lines of "I can't remember how I changed that setting" then actually figured it out on the video is so relatable!!!! I'm a beginner that's having a blast with my TrimUI and found this to be one of the best reviews for me. Update your firmware. there have been fixes for PSP and N64 which make the games you demonstrated playable.

Have you had any issues with the handheld loading a game but then none if the buttons work? I can't turn it off or turn down the volume.

Seems i am the only one whose vulkan is terrible compared to Open GL. My vulkan is unplayable
