Great vlog Vibes 👍, thanks for showing me my first view inside the Hilton. Balanced review 👌 👏. I expected the food presentation to be more Michelin quality, though. A bit of history, growing up, an older head, told me he used to hunt where the hotel is built. He said that it was plentiful back then during and after ww2.

Based on what I saw of the room looked like a nice room. We have to take you into the gold and diamond status so your rate would be lower lol. Oh, and that's a beautiful pool!

Nice review. I used to attend a conference there in the early 90s. The pool was different as well as the ballroom. I went to a couple restaurants and stores back in the days but never stayed in a room.

I always judge a place by the quality of their toilets. I'm curious as to what that toilet experience is.

That’s actually a pretty good way to judge, the toilet experience was good, everything flushed properly, the only problem I had was I wasn’t sure if the ventilation to remove the scent during or after a number 2 was working, but for the most part there wasn’t any after scent so it was a good experience

First and foremost, Happy Anniversary! May you all continue to have fun, excitement and many blessings in your marriage. I work in the aviation industry in the USA. Anytime the pilots ask me where I am from and I tell them, they immediately say "The Upside down hotel". I am not surprised of the dated look of the Hilton because in the USA many of them have that similar aesthetic. Honestly, the Hilton brand has become unimpressive and their standards have dropped over the years. Time for some hotel rehab. Rehab on one section at a time and do it during off season. The local rate is fantastic but having your own transport is a need especially during these times...unfortunately. The omelet station, pool and the restaurant are pretty impressive but the the prices of the food was bit overpriced (referring to $US) When next you are abroad, visit the Hilton Ballpark Downtown in St. Louis, MS. You are walking distance to the St. Louis historic Arch and museum you can tour as well as the river rides and extensive park. Also visit the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX. I assure you, you will be amazed.

You are correct. The room is dated and I find that the carpet smells a bit. They have been allocated funds for renovations. I so agree with your breakfast comment. The food is usually limited and bland. If I am being honest, Trinidad Hilton is way below the standard of other Hiltons. I have stayed at many from Barbados to San Francisco. They need to up their game. Interesting video man. Keep up the good work...oh and its pronounced Loo Chay (phonetic). All the best. You know you doing Brix next 😂
