I enjoyed this video to the max. I know how much you all appreciated this kind gesture by Dinesh and Vids. Such genuine respectable loving hardworking people sitting around one table. There's so much I wish to say that it'll be too long. I truly value this conversation hearing how hard Vids and Dinesh worked into becoming what they are today. They are a most dynamic powerful couple, Papa Lance and MaMa Lou another exemplary inspirational couple for everyone to learn from. Also Shanta and Tony is such a wonderful easy going fun couple. 17:53 The eating on a Suhari leaf all originated in South India so when our Indian Ancestors came to Trinidad they continued this tradition. DINESH is absolutely right when he said you can eat non vegetarian food on it and not just used in a prayer or wedding setting where the food is predominantly Vegetarian Food. In South India they consume lots of fish especially in the coastal areas. The Suhari leaf was large enough to accommodate a variety of dishes... perfect for feasts. It's Eco-friendly, free of chemicals, the leaf itself contains antioxidants and also have antifungal properties. The fresh cut leaf has a thin edible wax coating that melts into the hot food giving a most delightful aroma and flavor. After all pastelles made in a banana leaf compared to foil are much different in taste. It's actually more flavorful and moist. I hope this tradition continues and will not be replaced with the artificial green plastic leaf served on a tray at our traditional events. I understand it's convenient, however it's not Eco-friendly and perhaps costs more.

I love the fact that as a senior couple your take on live has substance and experience. I absolutely enjoyed this video especially when Dinesh spoke and sang the song his dad sang for him, My dad sang that song as well for us its from the movie Ek Phool Do Mali, Their London trip brought back memories for me,I went England in 1999in December also to Italy Milan and Ophanego, I visited England in 2013 during winter for 6 months and i loved it, Thanks for the reminder and your conversations about your lives and the struggles, Thats why you all are blessed pure heart and soul❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
