Going on a bit of a tangent here lol .. I really wasn’t aware of complex’s sneaker of the year pick from 2016 but I don’t agree with it being the acronym prestos.. very unique sneaker as a whole... installing the zipper into the added sock upper was very creative and the fact that they were able to execute so well on such an iconic Nike silhouette was impressive but I don’t really get the thought process as to why it’s the best of the year even after reading complex’s reasoning behind the claim. Also... All hype aside, how does complex not have the SBB 1s even on their 2015 sneaker of the year list at all?!?!? The color selection was perfect, the color blocking was simple yet so fire and has influenced a whole slew of well done 1s and can be easily credited with starting this 1 craze that’s been going on since then. Most importantly, the quality is unmatched by any other Jordan since and arguably better than any Jordan before it. Cmon Welty, what’s the deal with no SBB’s on the 2015 list?
