When I first saw her on the field I thought she would be something special ; but then she started mentioning players that INFLUENCED her, like "PETER PAN"(rapinoe), and truth be told, that SCARED me. Peter Pan has done SO MUCH DAMAGE to this team's image, till it makes you tear up.

@@jamesjones4309 YES, that's correct.....they "ACHEIVED" PISSING OFF THEIR ONE-TIME American fan base. Try to learn something from this, okay? I am a HUGE SOCCER FAN. When my kids were growing up, I took all 3 of them to their practices, and games; my wife and I also went on TOURNAMENTS, sometimes spending days away from home. Because all three kids were at the "CLUB" level of soccer, it cost much more took keep them playing. We have been following BOTH U.S. teams, the men and the women since 1994 or 95, and supported them NO MATTER WHAT. Since I grew up in the military, then went on to serve in the military myself, I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY CRITICAL OF ANYTHING, and ANYONE ANTI-AMERICAN....thus my falling out with the women. The MEN have a STRONG backing from their fanbase....EVEN WITHOUT ACHIEVING WHAT THEY HAVE. If you were paying CLOSE attention to the men's team you will notice a vast difference in their playing ability...it only a question of time.
