@@philfooshay My understanding is that it’s contribution is negligible due to the damage cap and in this build KITB is used to boost the dead eye time of SnS which is more useful than IL as damage taken will strip away your dead eye time leaving vulnerable to the next shot. KITB reduces this vulnerability.

@@philfooshay There is a soft cap on Fool Me Once, after you reach ~40% Damage reduction from all sources it goes down from 10% per shot to ~5%, So its a 5% Damage reduction boost, which in most cases will not give you an extra shot of health. Basically out of scope it would help, but in scope it doesn't, and most battles are won with scoped rifles now. I actually dont find that your third card matters to 99% of players, so you can afford some versatility, I chose to use Kick in the but as anti mauser protection, it also synergizes well when you survive a shotgun blast because you break even on deadeye drain from getting hit, and the shotgun blast fully activates Fool Me Once. TLDR- IL gives maybe 1 shot extra, but Fool Me once is often fully activated, and its kind of like winning streak, in that its such a good (defensive in this case) card, that the others you have matter very little, aside from giving you enough health to fully activate FMO. Sorry for the long reply, but I figured it was warranted.

Landons patience, peak condition and iron lung, no tonics, no deadeye. (i play on an rp server so i play without them out of rp to keep my skills up for when im in rp) rolling block or bow no second longarm (it looks dumb) either dual schofields for cool factor or schofield and sawn off for versatility after a bit of practice and having a machete on hotkey for a bad situaion and you become the reason griefers leave the lobby. a true cowboy

honestly iron long, winning streak, sns and fool me once is a the real tank build. i see the you point with kick in the butt, but if you use iron lung instead it makes you a tank and you can still be pretty mobile at the same time

@@elliotweinberg9503 Sharpshooter is 20% more damage, and 20% more damage absorption, It is arguably the best card in the game, because it gives the benefits of two deadeye cards to anyone using a scope. It feels weird to use a scope all the time, but once you get used to it, you never want to drop the rifle.

Only while in scope, it does stay up if you dive out of your scope for the duration of the dive though.

winning streak helps you out a lot more then sharpshooter because a lot of the time you will not be in the scope. Also the Carcano is a two-shot by itself

i have a card strat where i have 2 passives that keep a all times then my last one i can change as i need, so for pve id have a health regen card and for pvp id have sharpshooter and whatever card i need at any time

Its a mix of my scope being a short scope, which has the least visual sway, and the fact that I run low sensitivity as a rule.

What ammo is better to use with sawed-off shotguns?

in order of utility 1. Fire shells 2. Explosive slugs 3. Shells 4.Slugs As a general rule fire causes uncontrolled movement. Explosives are always consistent Regular shells are great DPS Slugs, both explosive and normal cause stagers within 12 steps guaranteed. - Personally I like to load my right hand shotgun with fire shells, and my left with normal shells. sns doesn't have as much of a advantage or health boost as you make it seem. Slip is much much worse and a real pain in the ass, slip users can straight up run up to somebody and take insane amount of bullets and still manage to tackle their opponent despite getting shot at. PVP consists of about 80% cronus users, lag switchers and freezers nowadays sadly so there's about no advantage to sns, sometimes even with lvl 2/3 tonics and minty meat they'll still one shot kill you. Also i wouldn't recommend double sawed offs for sns as its very close range and with sns slowing you down its not the best. Navy and a semi auto pistol with gunslingers choice is the best bet for sns imo.

You can't sprint with sns but a lot of players don't know that you can still dive... Also 1 volcanic and 1 navy is a deadly combo... They are both sharpshooter pistols and have insane damage and range

Totally right about Cronus n laggers and other cheaters it doesn’t matter what have on. I get one shot killed all the time. I am not a sniper or that good with carcano I am a in ur face pvper I like my pump action shotgun. The people that want to snip are the cheaters more than likely.

Slow and Steady, Fool me once, Iron Lung, Of single purpose. If Taking the least damage while fist fighting is your objective. Cards are listed in order of importance, however if you wanted to swap off Of single purpose, you could pop on Winning streak to give you an edge.

Focus fire, peak condition, the short game and strange medicine for fist fighting, best if your character is very fat. Hold square and spam circle. You can't use fool me once in a fist fight as no bullets are involved.

i have to respectfully disagree with you weopon loadout. The sawed off shotguns have barely any range and it you miss a shot you are scrwed. I personally would take navy relovers. Also depending on where you are fighting the pump action shotgun is sometimes a better bet then the lancaster

It's probably one of the top 5 builds. You have to learn to play the build a Conservative turtle playstyle really you find angles and ways to duke ur opponent to get the better of them

swap it with a dynamite bow then, and swap Sharpshooter with Landon's patience, or winning streak, and do a card swap to PIB when you are at long range, it only takes 6 seconds to do a swap.

Evans better fire rate I prefer evans more ammo and sounds better than Lancaster I don’t see the difference in accuracy also kick in the butt doesn’t work with slow and steady anymore they nerfed it years ago I use slow and steady iron lung fool me once and never without one if u wear a legendary said you still get the damage reduction from never with out one I use evans and bolt action rifle it’s disgusting in pvp and pve

That's a solid strategy for a sniper-less Tank build, one of the things I really need to cover is the damage threshold of the game, after 40% damage reduction the game nerfs all additional damage reducing perks to 5%, including NWO, Iron Lung, and FMO, What that means for this particular tank build is that FMO is the only damage reduction card worth taking, as for most engagements we will be in scope for 20% resist, and in SnS for 20% meaning that we are at soft cap already. Actually I think I might make a video covering the differences. Either way thanks for the comment.

@@eldodderino8146 no it does not and it only affects in within 10 step range ( literally shotgun range) and it is clear that evans deal more damage in 60 range and more. The reason why captain baldrick’s arsenal puts the burst dps higher for Lancaster is due to them firing in a way where the bloom goes down in bursts. Realistically when an opponent is in sight, you can just spam shots and still hit them. The fire rate is definitely a win for evans as well as it’s ammo capacity, furthermore you can use a rapid fire glitch to increase the fire rate 10 fold and it is even spammable with pib. Only problem with evans is the range which loses to the Lancaster but if ur running a SNS build you will probably just snipe from a 60 - 100 step range and shoot from close up which is the evans job

@@eldodderino8146 yes the Evans is a good choice for the 10 to 60 step range however I would still choose the Lancaster over Evans in certain situations and certain builds. Pib build requires range over damage and firerate so the dps doesn't matter. I normally would use the Lancaster in a pib build as it is a good 45 to 65 step range and for further shots I use a sniper. However I will use the Evans in the 20 to 50 step range like showdowns, the firerate and damage sometimes comes in handy.
