I'm typically not huge on English covers, but I do really like this one. Y'all did a great job, and the translation works really well for the song. A lot of translations really rough up the meter of the song and make it sound pretty disjunct, but this was basically perfect. That's pretty damn hard to achieve, so great job!

this cover is not really a translation, but rather an adaptation. you can check the references i used in the video description for the "translation" i wrote the lyrics to stay as true as possible to the original song but i do take liberties to make it sound as good as possible in English. every lyricist who does this type of writing has a different approach. some focus on writing a singable translation (i.e. lyrics mean literally or almost literally the exact same thing as the original) while others take huge creative freedoms in what they change. thank you for listening to our cover!
