Sir small doubt , when source 1 is failed k10 will not energise so we will not get pressure indications , .. does it mean B4 is deenergised so capacitor tripping works .? Or B4 is independent of K10 and works only when pressure is down? Sir please carify

B4 depends on actual physical pressure of gas.. The status of B4 is further reflected in K10, thus K10 is called density monitor multiplier.. K10 just multiplies / propagates the status of B4. In other words, actual gas pressure commands B4( gas density monitor) and then status of B4 controls K10. Thus K10 depends on status of B4. And B4 depends on actual gas pressure. Vice versa doesnt work here.

So good sir... I hv one doubt.. if only dc -1 fail but gas pressure is not low... Then how capacitor current will flow to trip ckt.. plz explain sir

@@beingelectrical6641 A permanent positive is connected to 86 relay, that is from DC source 1 or 2 sir? If DC 1 fails, then how 86 relay works during any fault? Please clarify sir

Source 2 generally remains for back up.. in some drawings, source 2 backs up the whole DC bus, whereas in some cases, source 2 is used only in trip ckt 2 operation..the secondary protection

Sir under low gas pressure, if CTD is directly giving tripping signal to coil, then breaker will trip.under low gas pressure if breaker operates, then flashover of limb will happens. Kindly resolve this sir

It will be interrupting normal working current which can be easily considered much lower than the fault current... Plus the moment, pressure gets lower than threshold,, tripping command gets issued to cease any further possible operation of breaker (arc interruption). SF6 pressure is essential for sufficient arc & thus heat quenching and the threshold pressure is designed accordingly...considering one time safe operation atleast
