Zagatala is the pearl of the Caucasus, a city in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the administrative center of the Zagatala region. The city is located on the Talachay River, in the wooded foothills of the southern slopes of the Main Caucasian Range. Zagatala is connected to Tbilisi by a highway through Lagodekhi and Sheki. There is a railway station on the Yevlakh-Belokany line and Parvizan International Airport.
