Never will forget my last relationship. During that time my grandmother passed away . Friends turned their back on me . Partner left me too . I was at my ugliest and darkest and as I fell asleep in tears one night I had a dream I was running up a steep steep hill . This song played and the lyrics said " because I have sweet victory , nobody can take it from me . Yeah We still running even though we limpin. " Woke up feeling the presence of God lift me up out of weakness and pain . Even when I had no words to say , i was broken, crying out to God . Crying about my break up of 2 years , crying over not having work , losing my grandmother , people walking away , my cry reach up to heaven and the Father heard me , lifted me up and strengthened me . Now , 2 years later , I am in the medical field, driving to work when I had no car , money in my bank and set free! Just as the bible says " No man stood with me , for all men forsook me ; but the Lord stood with me and gave me strength " 2 Timothy 4:16-17 No matter what may come or who may walk away , YOU keep going onward , upward and forward.

I get it. My issues aren't physical, but trust me when I say I have been dealing with a pain that seems way bigger than me for about 8 years now. My mom was diagnosed with cancer almost a year ago. The last thing she was trying to hear was "Keep your chin up". When you're in pain, be it physical, emotional, spiritual... even standing on the Word of God is difficult. I know what pain feels like. I'm sorry that you are hurting. I'll be praying for you. I don't understand why things happen as they do, but God is in control! All the best!!! God be with you!

Agreed....but most of the rappers wait at least 2 years to drop an album....look at Swoope who dropped Wake Up in 2012 and Sinema released in 2014....Tedashii's Blacklight dropped in 2011! And Below Paradise was released in 2014...the wait time between Lecrae's Overdose and Gravity was a year and a half i believe...soo yeah Trip def aint the only one...but i will say the rappers who've come out of a hiatus tend to bring some FIRE TO THE TABLE!! the first time i heard this song was probably about 8 months after I graduated high school. My family had always been really religious. But I wandered from that path in my high school years, I was headed down a bad road doing things I knew I shouldnt be doing. Made a new Friend at the gym, he let me hear it and man I tell you this song had me balling like a newborn. This song literally saved me from flushing so much down the drain. Got back in church and turned everything completely around. now I have my own family and thank God every chance I get for leading me to hear the one thing that could penetrate my mind and save my soul. One of my best friends went to be with the Lord a little over a month ago and its been really hard on me. This song really gets to me every time I listen to it. That boy was my first love. We didn't date but we did talk for a little bit and I know he once had feelings for me and I KNOW what I felt for him was so real, and getting over the fact of him not loving me or even not liking me like that anymore was hard and I just got over it a few months ago. He really did change my life, I wouldn't have gone to church if I didn't start liking hin tbh haha. but my relationship with God started up again and over the months it grew and grew. when he passed I've never cried so hard or so much. He was only 15 years old. Sometimes I get so mad at the devil for making him sick. But he loved Jesus so I know he's probably playing baseball with him up in Heaven... but I miss him like crazy and I just wish he was here. I need some words of encouragement.
