TRIP REPORT | Air Canada Express - E175 - New York (LGA) to Montréal (YUL) | Business Class

Welcome to another trip report!
On February 7, I flew Air Canada Express from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Montreal's Trudeau International Airport in Business Class. This 14-year-old E175 is operated by Sky Regional Airlines. Even though we were delayed for over 4 hours, I was in no rush to get to Montréal, so I hung out at the lounge. The onboard experience was one of the best I have ever experienced on a quick hop like this.

Always love flying on the 175, especially into my home airport of Montreal. A night approach into YUL is always a treat.

Comfortable seating, good refreshments even though you don't eat eggs, and even economy gets drinks and a snack for this hourlong flight. For such a short hop the IFE isn't important. Air Canada Express should get a thumbs up!

I fly out of LaGuardia out of terminal C once a month and watching this drive with crowded traffic on the LIE makes me very sad. I can’t wait to get back on a plane under normal circumstances someday soon... love the videos and the channel, keep it up!

I believe Air Transat is now a subsidiary of Air Canada. I wish we had mainline Air Canada come to South Florida where I live. But nope. We have crappy Rouge with their sub par Business Class which I now avoid Rouge like it was Coronavirus. Great to see the white stuff ... especially looking out at the pool and 80 degrees. Still I wouldn’t mind a long weekend in Montreal or Quebec City. Keep up the great work Q. 😉

I personally love the AC E175. If I'm flying economy, I always go for the seat right behind yours, 12A. Excellent legroom and you rarely have anyone next to you Looks like it's out of service in this video

Nice report man!! I’ve personally flown air canada express 175 also, it’s such an underrated airplane!! Even in economy the legroom is amazing, and air Canada makes it even better by putting in IFE screens, even though they are slow, it’s still a plus compared to other airlines, when I’ve flown on the 175 two times, and one time it was actually in the new livery, so I don’t think they’re planning on stopping the operations with the 175, also, you should check out air transat one time, I’m not sure if you already have and I just didn’t see it, but you should check out their A330-200, I flew on it once and it’s a prettt nice airplane

According to Air Canada, these Embraer aircraft have already been withdrawn. AC's intention is to replace all former Embraer services with A220 aircraft.

What aircraft is the Q100? As far as I know, only the Dash 8-400 has the Q (quiet) option. I'm assuming you meant the Dash 8-100. Which definitely does not have the Q option. Also, you mention all aircrafts except the CRJ have IFE. Pretty sure none of the Dash-8s do either.
