TRIP REPORT | Air Malta A320 (ECONOMY) | Rome Fiumicino to Luqa, Malta | Retro Airbus A320

In February 2018 I tried Air Malta on a flight from Rome Fiumicino to Luqa, Malta in Economy Class. The flight was operated by an Airbus A320 in Retro special livery! On this short 1 hour long flight to the island of Malta they offered a complimentary sandwich and bottle of water (2018). On my more recent flights with them (2019) I didn't get anything for free anymore...

FCO is a good airport. However, it is incredible how an airport in Rome has no good food option.

There's lots of good restaurants and cafes in Fiumicino. The lounge's are also good.

air malta ja aber auch sagenhaft günstige C/CL Preise. Und da hast du dann dein hot meal und für mich champagner. WESEMTLICH günstiger als LH

If they did remove the free service (atleast from your flights with them), could you take a guess as to why? (costs?/too short of a flight?)

Sadly the cost is the problem... but look at Aegean and Turkish Airlines. They still offer good (even hot meals) on all flights!

"Air Malta": Me clavaron 80€ por el equipaje de mano sin ninguna razón: las medidas estaban inferiores a las exigidas en la web. Un autentico timo, estafa y robo. Lo he reclamado tantas veces y no me devolvieron mi dinero. Espero que mis 80€ les ha sacado de pobres...... Una vergüenza......
