TRIP REPORT | Alaska 737-800 First Class

Shot on 30 December 2023, Alaska Airlines flight 1.
Welcome back to another trip report on a new airline for me and the channel! When flying back home after visiting family and friends over the Christmas I chose to try out Alaska's first class product. I'd never flown with Alaska before and heard good things about their first class so I decided to see what it was like. This Flight was the first of two with Alaska on this particular day.
Especially on this transcontinental flight Alaska provided quite a nice service. The food was tasty, the seat was comfortable, and the first class flight attendants were phenomenal. The one draw back is that Alaska currently doesn't have IFE systems installed on their planes. Despite this, I still had a great experience on board and would definitely consider flying Alaska on a transcon flight again. All in all, a great experience!
The other highlight of this journey was the First Class lounge in Seattle. With amazing ramp and runway views, the lunge is a relaxing and peaceful way to kill some time while waiting for a connecting flight. What an amazing space Alaska has created in their Seattle lounge!

I have flown on Alaska Airlines many times between and those engines sound are music to my ears and Alaska Airlines is for their milk run flight from Seattle to various islands in Alaska

You can't beat the sound of the engines from up front! I've seen videos about the Alaska milk run flights. What a cool service! I thought it was very fitting that it was a rainy day in Seattle. Very on brand weather for the Pacific Northwest.

It was a very smooth landing! I really enjoyed the breakfast. Best I've had on a domestic first class flight!
