Fly Away / Rupert Thank you! 😉 I agree with you, the Embraer 170/190 series are comfortable and not noisy. I don't remember any unpleasant flight. Italian language is nice to hear, but if spoken by that F/A, it's heart-melting! Ahah! Enjoy your journey and holiday in Rome! 🇮🇹

Thank,s for sharing your flight here at "youtube". It,s curious. Indeed the smaller Regio/commuter-jets are much more cozy and spacious (at least the leg-room) than the bigger single-aisle Airbus- or Boeing jets. This AZ ERJ-175 cabin looks very nice. Allready you mentioned it too. These brandnew stylish-leather seats with the red head-rest let be "warming up" the entire cabin-ambiente.

Nice video, Niki! Those views of Fiumicino airport brought me great memories. I was there 3 times (surprisingly, always as a tourist, not connecting to another flight haha): 2x with Iberia and 1x with Eurowings. I saw many times these little Aliatalia Embraers, flying almost always to Linate. I specially remember watching them a lot of times in Brussels airports, during my long connections there haha During the last months I felt like a growing offer in flights to Linate instead of Malpensa. Is Malpensa reaching its operative limits perhaps? Maybe it was just a coincidence...

OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Thank you my friend! 😉 Hope you enjoyed Rome! Compared to other capital airports, FCO has lots of margins of improvement, even if it already improved a lot from the past, but its appearance and space arrangement make it feel like an old, not airy, neglected airport. AZ mostly operated the ERJ from LIN to European and domestic destinations. Actually LIN lost lots of capacity on LIN-FCO route due to high speed train, so AZ opened several new destinations like ATH and LUX, besides the seasonal destinations in summer, and will soon open GVA, however the pax loads in LIN is continuing to decrease. Instead, MXP is increasing its traffic every year, thanks to introduction of new airlines (like Ryanair, the new Air Italy) and new routes. BGY is also increasing its pax load a lot, thanks to Ryanair. I'll be flying my first Ryanair flight from MXP next week. I'll see how MXP handles Ryanair.

So enjoy that flight with Ryanair! To be honest, and knowing that I can't judge an airline having made only 1 flight with them, I prefer RYR than EZY... at least for now. :) Definitely, FCO needs a huge refurbishment. As you say, it looks old and outdated. I don't know... it's not soo comfortable to fly there as to other major airports. Maybe also because Alitalia is not in its best days... By the way, how it's Alitalia situation? :)

OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Actually I much prefer EZY than RYR in terms of type of service, also because I prefer the A320 fam than the B737. I prefer RYR only for the baggage policy. Anyway, it’s too early for you to judge EZY. Time will let you have more experience in EZY and maybe you will change your mind eheh. Actually the situation in AZ is still on standby, as it is for months, years... they just presented the new uniforms, after just 2 years from the latest ones. I leave you the comments...

Pfff... Yep, I've read something about the uniforms in 2 years... I hope that something good is being made "out of our eyes" and the company will have a nice future... I can't imagine Alitalia disappearing... =/
