No screens, so the plane is a BYOD? How do you all like that?

It is. I am mixed on that, I do miss the screens. But as a BYOD is not too bad, at least they have outlets and USB ports. Could be worse.

Arriving at DFW at 4am, what time you get up to make the drive? No doubt by the time you arrive at Lihue, you'll be a zombie! Arriving at LAX just after 7am PST, how much connecting time did you have? Wonder if AA's first flight of the day to LAX is always full? The date you were flying, Jan 8th isn't a holiday unless you were perhaps on winter break from school--I assume you had something more filling other than the Biscoff and OJ somewhere along the way? Have you ever considered flying SWA to Hawaii? Looking forward to the next installment

I barely slept haha, I got up at 2:30 AM. It was about a 1.5 to 2-hour layover. Capacity can depend sometimes they are, other times it can be quite open. It's not a holiday, but I requested days off from work and there were no classes at that time. I bought the sandwich at LAX and then ate upon arrival to the hotel. I have considered Southwest, someday, especially now that they are installing USB ports. 😊👋
