Trip Report - Baltimore to Grand Rapids | Southwest 737 MAX 8

This was probably the best flight I've been on with Southwest. Their MAX aircraft are the best in their fleet. I spent a week in Myrtle Beach, SC, and didn't film a highlight video like I did while I was in Florida earlier this year. I hope you enjoy the video; I don't have plans to go on any more trips in 2022 but don't worry, I'll be back in the skies before you know it!

I am flying the SW Max 8 Oct 1st from Baltimore to Denver, non stop. The fare was only $99, probably because it is a late flight (7:50 pm) on Saturday. Looking forward to it, have been on their 700's and 800's but not on the Max 8 yet, looking forward to trying it out, and enjoying the roominess. I like the 800's better than the 700's due as they are a bit roomier.

I swear to G that, that LOVELY lady who announced the landing in 'Grand Cayman' was an FA on a flight I took to BWI in late July 2020 (she was just so perfect in stating all the 'truths' to the PAX and asking for Co-operation and Kindness (not just abord the A/C for our Flight, but with each other, and whilst out in the greater World.) We desparately need to BE ppl like this Angel of a Woman and Professional Flight Attendent. I flew while 'MAX' was still grounded. I wish that I felt better about the story of how it came to be, but its not The Mosters fault that Dx. FrankenBOEING made it!!! All the best to those who work onboard and travel aboard the MAX. Someday, I too will relax into it ( I have experience, as in August of 1979 I flew aboad one of the first DC-10-40 departures from MSP to ORD (on the old Northwest ORIENT Airlines!) right after it was returned to the air after its Grounding (r.i.p AA 191, May 25, 1979.) Also, my trip in 2020 thru BWI to BOS was excellent on SWA, and BWI 'IS' the East Coast gem! I love the Rocking Chairs with a view of the field. When SWA gets the MAX-7, It would be a shame if they didn't go BWI to London, Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Stansted, and all the others reachable with the -7, as BWI is painfully without much Internationional traffic, and it always seems to 'flow' unlike BOS, JFK, EWR, PHL and the others . . .
