If you like travelling light the go for Aer Lingus as with an Economy Saver ticket you can check in your large carry on. If you want some free water and a small snack on the plane, go for British Airways. If you want a more modern cabin, go for Aer Lingus as their new cabins have USB charging ports. USB ports on BA short haul planes are a bit hit and miss.
