Wow.. The last time I was there, in 1997 or 98, it was a relatively small airport, with one terminal building... We came in on Sun Country, went down & got our luggage, When we flew back, we checked in on level one & went upstairs to the boarding bridge.. The terminal was across Buckeye Rd from the Greyhound station.... No train & no terminals #2 & #3....

Very nice Trip report. Can I ask you, What is Standby mode? And how do you Book A flight on Standyby?

Standby is the Buddy Pass system that Delta uses. I wouldn't recommend it because you would get bumped to later flights if the current one you are waiting for is full.

Thats what i thought. I saw how it threw a wrench into your trip out. are the savings significant. So I am assuming that you have to book standby over the phone.

It is slightly cheaper, but the reason I took the buddy pass was because my grandfather used to be a pilot for Delta and he can give me a discount on the pass, but standby is the only way I can get that discount.
