Wow, genau so muss ein Tripreport sein, sehr detailliert und trotzdem nicht zu lang, da hat man das Gefühl, bei der Reise dabei zu sein! :) Das neue Bewertungssystem ist sehr ausführlich, auch wenn ich das alte etwas persönlicher fand, weil man in Textform nochmal einen besseren Eindruck über eure Gefühle zu dem Flug kriegt... Aber trotzdem schön, ich fänds cool, wenn ihr mit dem neuen System so eine Art Ranking machen könntet, welche eurer Flüge demnach die besten waren und welche die schlechtesten, vllt. auf eurer website! ;) Auf jeden Fall geht der Daumen ganz weit nach oben! :)

I flown with Lufhansa everytime I traveled from Los Angeles to my homd country, Romania. The 346 is a superb aircraft and Lufthansa is the ONLY company in the world I choose to fly with! Major respect for Lufthansa and THANK YOU for always taking me home safe! 🙏🏻

I had to fly on this very aircraft from Newark NJ to Munich and that was the best experience I ever had on a flight. The crew were friendly, lots of snacks and drinks, and tons of entertainment options. I’m surely looking forward to flying Lufthansa A340-600 again soon!

Please don't! I flew A340-600 for the first time (and definitely the last time) from Munich to São Paulo and hated the plane. I ended up in the 'penalty box' seat, the bulkhead row with no windows. Really claustrophic if you can't look out of the windows to orient yourself with the environment outside. The staircase to the WC below the main deck is really narrow, and people don't pay attention to the rule of not standing in the staircase, waiting for the next available WC. I rebooked the return flight to Munich so that I would fly 747-8i from Rio de Janeiro to Frankfurt. 747-8i is really amazing and a giant leap from 747-400 and older variations!

My favourite plane is the A340-600. It was my first long trip from Munich to New York and after so many trips and different planes later, it is still my favourite. The comfort, the quitness, the 2-seat sides(instead of 3), the beauty of the 4 engines, everything. Too bad these planes are retired. I also flew with the so called most advanced plane the 787 Dreamliner, and it was a nightmare for long haul flights.

At 4:57...No amenity kit...Dude...you're sitting in economy. Did you seriously expect this? Those things are the biggest waste of money for airlines. Nobody ever uses them. They just end up being souvenirs or left behind.

Thanks for watching. If it's a 5-star airline you can expect amenity kits, I think. On other 5-star carriers, you get those on every flight and you also get amenity kits often on night flights on board 4-star airlines.

Bin letztes Jahr mit der A346 von MUC nach SFO geflogen. Es war der beste Flug den ich je hatte. Der Rückflug ging von LAX nach FRA mit der A380....gruseliges Flugzeug ohne Comfort, zumindest in der Economy...

A couple of points....I think the A340-600 is the 2nd most beautiful aircraft flying today (I'll keep my opinion on #1 to myself.) I love the interiors of Lufthansa aircraft. The lighting, the décor, the overall feeling of openness and space...all personal opinion I know, but nevertheless...I enjoyed your video! Thank you.

I flew on Lufthansa A340 in the past but I certainly don't recall there was a staircase. Mind you, I was located near the front and pretty sure there was a bathroom just in front of me. This revelation is absolutely amazing! Also, I'm flying on another A340 in about 10 hours and I checked the seat map and have located a stairwell. It's pretty interesting if you don't mind, that an aircraft would have a stairwell. I can't wait to check it out mid-flight!

Thank you so much for letting me dream of a fifth flight to L.A. Oh, how I love that incredible city! - My first flight to L.A. was in September 1994. After that four flights I flew twice to San Francisco. But I always took British Airways. That was some kind of "sentimentality"... Don't know if you ever took that airline. Oh, my departing airport was MUC as well because I lived at Freising - my hometown. Wish you well and still a lot of wonderful flights! :)

by the way, the small overhead bins are the reason for queing up so early. the last ones to board need to store their onboard trolley under the seat, thus they have less legroom. for thirteen hours!

I've flown the -600 for min. 10 times between MUC-SFO return, and for me it is the most comfi longdistance plane in the whole LH-fleet. In my experiance they dont serve only Drinks in the galey, they also have snaks.

Great review of Lufthansa's A340-600 penciljet! I've never seen toilets below the plane. Not sure if you heard of this Singaporean term called "kiasu" (afraid to lose out)- I thought to myself, why were passengers queuing way before boarding calls were made? On separate note, I'm happy to see the return of a proper tray for the 2nd meal in LH economy class. I seriously don't like their previous concept of two separate "casings" which made it feel so messy.
