These planes were brought back after being decommissioned and parked at BKK throughout covid lockdown. They're using these old 200ER jets while they await new 787-9s. they will start delivery in 2025.

The IFE really sucks on TGs Boeing 777-200ER tbh I used to fly once from Islamabad to Bangkok, outdated and unresponsive until I've spent my whole flight in sleeping without using any of their IFEs due to this. Other modern aircraft like Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 have more better IFE which is also frequent flight to Pakistan. TGs inflight catering never disappoints mostly delicious and friendly cabin crew!
