The special livery is a memory of 2 historical events of the rescue flight by Turkish Airlines in 1985 when 215 Japanese people were stranded in Tehran during the Iran-Iraq war. Turkish Airlines were the only airlines to bravely send a DC-10 in order to bring them home at that time. And in 1890 a Turkish Frigate ship sank during a Typhoon while on its way to Japan. The villagers of Kushimoto were nearby and were able to save most of its turkish crew members. Hence to remember the special friendship , Turkish Airlines created the Kushimoto Livery.

Loved the video. Captures everything well. Best of all, No rubbish music all over the place ruining it.Legroom seems very good, not like your legs grow over the course of the flight. Love the 330, man.

Thank you +cndam. A 330 is a very efficient aircraft both for the airline and the passengers. As about the legroom, in the beggining, it might seems ok, but if you are for many hours there and you want to stretch sometimes or sleep, then it changes the perspective. Cheers!

I agree, meals on TK flights are the best! I recently flown with Emirates (A380) in economy class, surely the A380 is the most comfortable but the meal offered by Emirates can't reach the TK!

I would love to fly to Havanna with Turkish Airlines one day. It’s just incredibly expensive getting there sadly. I don’t think I have seen any flights from Frankfurt in Economy for less than 1100€ round trip

I just checked dates in September and the price from Frankfurt is 606euro round trip with a short connection or you can stay in Istanbul for a day with free hotel or city tour. Very very cheap flight price! You will have 5 flights with A330. FRA-IST-HAV-CCS-IST-FRA

AirFlight Travels Wow, I remember they were really expensive back then when I checked. 606 really is incredibly cheap. I had tons of layovers in Istanbul but they were all transiting from International to Domestic so I never got to try the Touristanbul or the Hotel offer. AirFlight Travels like a visa. Did you have to get your visa beforehand or did they give you the Visa cards on board. I know that Air Canada gives them on board for free.

@@juyounghan6268 No any airline can not provide you with Visa. I had visa back from my country. You have to check the visa policy with any country. For examples Canadians maybe have a Free visas on arrival, but if you fly from Canada with an Italian passport you need also to have prearranged a visa.
