Not bad at all for such an old 777. Cabin product looked quite nice eve tho kinda had that Business Class look. Better than lots of newer 777s currently flying

Yes! I love this United Boeing 777-200! It should be used as a vacation jet for 2+ hour flights between the northern U.S. and Orlando, Florida for Walt Disney World Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, and Universal Studios Orlando because it flies more passengers than any other small vacation plane. The main cabin of this United Boeing 777-200 should have 3 passengers per 3-3-3 configuration seating in case of nap time during 2+ hour flights. The business class and 1st class have recliners for nap time, but they're more expensive than the main cabin.

Very good trip report! Shocking to see a 2-4-2 configuration for an International Business Class that usually is used for Premium economy, but for a 2 hours flight seems Ok to me. I was surprised to see the meal service. I have to say wow!

I have no words about United Airlines using their Boeing 777-200 from Denver to San Francisco. I think they should use a smaller plane like a Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and other smaller aircraft they have but still, I have absolutely no words!

Holy crap dude, I just took the same flight last night. Same flight number but ours left late because they couldn’t get door 1L shut properly. Sat in seat 1K and paid for this upgrade just to try out this product and was very impressed

The overall design of those older UA business class seats may not be as good as newer ones (they are narrow and lack personal storage space) but the cushioning, as you discovered is much softer and more comfortable than the newer seats. As others pointed out, this is UA's "high density" configuration, meant mostly for domestic routes, although my friend just flew in one today from BCN to EWR, so they do appear on TATL routes sometimes as well!

Great domestic first class product! Also something interesting, I believe this is the domestic 777 version that has no screens in economy so I’m surprise they did the safety video on the screens, the 2 times I flew this they just did a manual safety demonstration, any idea why that is?

Agreed , Ive actually never seen such a configuration on any business class worldwide.I hope they only use the plane on domestic routes , imagine sitting in the middle for 11 hours having payed a business class fare!°

This particular plane is configured for domestic service, including Hawaii and Guam. Many of the pre-merger United 772s are internationally configured and still have the same 2-4-2 business class, but that subfleet is being converted into the Polaris business class cabin with direct aisle access for every seat. The domestic subfleet, including this plane, were all recently outfitted with new economy seats but kept the 2-4-2 seats up front.

Yh American has a better product in their 777s. This 2-4-2 config. for business class is very cramped. The standard is 2-2-2 or 1-2-1. This config. reminds me of when American had a 2-5- 2 in economy that was so insane.
