TRIP REPORT / VIETJET A321 HO CHI MINH - SINGAPORE [ECONOMY class]

today, i flew on vietnam's biggest lowcost airlines. My flight was from Ho Chi Minh to Singapore on an old A321 in Economy. Overall the flight was alright except for the very bad legroom onboard... However the crew was very nice and i had a good flight :)

We used them a few years ago from Da Nang to Can Tho in the Mekong Delta as they were literally the only option. Sure our flight was delayed ninety minutes, the seats were indeed cramped for a big white guy like me but it beat taking a coach.

Yeh I think it’s a cool airline. The seats are not the best but the prices are very attractive in general compared to other airlines. The inflight menu is also quite good. Hope you enjoyed my video !:)

I did not order any food unfortunately. However I would recommend you to order it before so you get served first and it’s just less time consuming

Thanks for the video. I was hoping to see some food on the flight but I guess you didn't purchase any. On your Vietnam Airlines comment, yes, we have flown with them multiple times and it was good!

First, Vietnam Airlines has the most beautiful livery! Have a long flight from Taipei to Ho Chi Minh City coming up - my first ride with them. As far as Vietjet, used 'em in October/November and will be doing so extensively in February. Years ago, on another Asian budget airline, I discovered that 28" of legroom wouldn't even accommodate my 5'6"/168cm frame, so, on VietJet, I'm "Deluxe" ("Sky Boss" is outrageously overpriced!) ... Banh mi is among the food offerings? $3 USD? 'scuse me ... I'm ordering ...

It's to no surprise that you get horrible legroom on a lcc. You get what you pay for the price of the flight. You shouldn't expect luxury on a flight that's cheap like this one. Im not being mean or anything so don't come at me :')

thanks for your comment! I did not expect a lot from Vietjet but I was positively surprised by their service and the seat overall knowing that it was very cheap... but yeh i did not expect luxury on this flight, I'm just trying to show my experience :)
