Watching this made me realize the profound effect of the Marcos presidency to my generation. Although I was born and raised in Bacolod, the culture and arts projects of Mrs. Marcos have imbued national pride to young people like me that when I migrated to another country later on, I have remained a proud Filipino. These national treasures made a lasting impression on me growing up that I took the time to visit them later on during my vacations and I made sure I brought my children (born in the US) on tour of the Intramuros, stayed at the Manila Hotel, frolic at the Luneta park and nearby museums and taught them Philippine pride through the Ayala Museum particularly the "Golds of Ancestors" display. May BBM's presidency will not only bring forth economic recovery but Filipino culture and arts renaissance as well.

Workplace mishaps is something that the contractor has to take into account and be responsible for to avoid another accident to happen again and not the person who wants to get something built. Sure, you could say that if they were not rushed then maybe the accident could have been avoided but even a well planned, premeditated project cannot guarantee perfection. And if you think that only CCP had people die building, you are sorely mistaken.

Hello senator Imee! I'm from Cagayan Valley and have met you once during one Cagayan Day celebration with governor Manny Mamba. I graduated (UST) in 1985 in PICC. Please revive our Cultural Mile. The Filipinos of this generation will be so grateful to see and live in a very clean, orderly, peaceful and globally at par LuzViMin. Thank you for reviving and re-introducing our culture through this 'Mile Project.'
