Welcome Back! I didn't even own an EV when I started watching your previous videos, now I've had 3 and my latest is a Model Y.

Excellent glad to hear it 😁 You really can't beat Tesla! We've just had a week in a Volvo EX30... not great to say the least. If you didn't know catch up with us on X at @HullTeslaModel3 😁👍 All the best.

Great video. Beautiful weather in every shot. Must admit when in Europe Tesla makes things so easy. Good luck with the home in the sun 👍

Thanks Scott... yep we were very lucky with the blue skies. It was an absolute doddle, and regardless of routes to the caravan, we're well covered with superchargers. Can't wait to get back... we did a lot, but we've still a lot to do :o)

Great to see you back again. Tesla are an amazing company but they should be careful not to throw their big USP away by opening up their supercharger network. I look forward to more of your adventures !

Thanks John, and I totally agree. We'd have never bought the car without the supercharger network. I'm not been an old curmudgeon, and even mean spirited to other EV drivers, but we've spent a fortune for the privilege, and if we're even queuing to charge behind non Teslas, it's going to be irritating... but it's not happened yet, so I'll save any grumbling for now 😂 Can't wait to get back.

Part way through admittedly, but did charging route change because started raining as that will affect efficiency surprisingly in any car. Great video as always. Tesla makes life so much easier it's scary. You'll be glad to have back by end of the month.

Thanks for watching Alex... indeed it's the best way to get around in an EV. I think it was probably feeling more confident, because it was pushing us past the original first stop... clever stuff. Can't wait to get it back. Going up to Scarborough tomorrow in the i3... just hoping that pans out! :o) All the best.

Hope all well and you get to caravan for Easter following presumably enjoyable Christmas.

Off to LA in a couple of weeks 👍👍 Got a Chevy Camaro booked... just hoping there's enough room in the back for the kids legs! 😄😄 But after this crazy spending, we'll be on jam sandwiches in the caravan for Easter!

@@TeslaModel3Adventures you're a fan of Lidl, visiting one for first time in 9 years tomorrow, due to have one locally here in about 2 months. Based on an old DIY place 2-3 times over.

Excellent video Richard, I remember watching the EN-V200 video and feeling your pain! I never did buy the Nissan, I wonder why? I look forward to your instalments, including the fitting of the AC Mini split unit! Did I read that you heat/ cool your home using this method also? Given the crazy cost of home heating gas and oil, that would be a very timely and interesting video indeed. I’m faced with replacing a 23 year old oil boiler in our modern-ish terraced house and so far I’ve been offered nothing but heat pumps. Given we have a 4kw solar PV system, I’ve been looking at a house battery so we may use our own electricity 24/7 and not be forced to give it away to a monopoly for next to nothing. Installing mini split systems could be the way forward for me. Wishing you all health to enjoy your new French adventures!

Indeed it's chalk and cheese compared to the Nissan. This has been the first year we've heated the house with the AC heat pump mode... works great, quick heat, and so cheap compared to the gas CH, & any other type of electric heating. Mini splits are great. First job at the caravan next month 😎 Thanks for watching. All the best.

Feels like i was with you ! Great video , the Supercharger network is how rapid charging should be , if i was driving on the continent, it has to be a Tesla !
@TeslaModel3Adventures2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, we'll be going back as often as we can, and I've zero worries about getting there in the Model 3. Just a lovely car to drive, so comfortable over long distances. Hope you're not feeling too bad with lurgy! All the best.

@@TeslaModel3Adventures catching up on YT videos , great to see you both putting out content , just make sure you dont get your plate cloned ! Did you see my niro cloned video ?

@@JonathanPorterfield I did, and seeing the hassles you'd had with it all, it does make you think seriously about it. Unfortunately there's probably lots of my videos where my reg is visible, tricky to go back now. But I'll try to be careful for all future videos from now 🙂👍

Hi Brian... yeah we're all fine thanks. I'm doing one of those Twitter break things 😅 Apart from most tweet they're having a break, I just did one! I'm sure I'll be back at some point... sometimes it was getting a bit much. I've got about three videos to edit for KZbin... maybe I'll get around to doing that at some point in 2023 😄😄 All the best 👍
