Dear Renata, Congratulations to you and your team on your videos of Nottingham. You are clearly talented and the long list of plaudits in the comments are deserved. As a local resident and elected representative, we always notice what is missed - the radical history of Nottingham, its sports history, the night life (tens of thousands at the weekends), the cultural offer - and the repaired building you saw was the offices of our best ever architect. And I think we'd have liked to have shown you some other restaurants. But really, the best of any such videos made about Nottingham that I've seen. I'm sorry you're not allowed to film in some of our attractions, but it's a key part of their business and your photo presentation was a very good substitute. Congratulations. Michael Edwards, Lace Market resident and City Councillor.

- an anecdote from Nottingham.....I once stayed at the old George Hotel....Charles Dickens stayed there back in the day and the cheque he used to pay for his room is kept on the wall in reception...they obviously thought, quite rightly, that his signature was worth more than the 5 pounds (I think) cost of the room...

I am ashamed to say I didn't know of the caves in Nottingham. A very interesting tour. For the lower classes times like those must have been hell. If you paid enough you could probably get away free. Stained glass windows are certainly a work of art. The UK must be an architects dream. If you visit 221B Baker Street ensure you wear the hat and scarf.

Hey I know I have posted on a lot of your travel videos especially South East Asia since I have been to those places myself and like to share my own travel experiences. Now Nottingham is my home city - born and bred. The city boundary population is small around 330,000 but if we include all of Nottingham suburbs the population is actually around 768,000. It's a nice city with some history regarding Robin Hood, the Castle on Castle Rock, the shopping centres and pedestrianised shopping areas, Old Market Square, shopping arcades and Lace Market but the city has big beautiful parks like Wollaton Park, University Park, Colwick Park, Holme Pierrepont Watersports Centre, Attenborough Nature Reserve and the Embankment along the River Trent in Trent Bridge where the 2 football grounds (Nottingham Forest and Notts County) and well-known Trent Bridge cricket venue are located. The city is also known for its crazy night life and amazing restaurants in the city centre - it is a well known student city
