Trip to Waikiki Beach during short layover in Hawaii

I’m taking a short vacation before I embark on the next phase of my career (new job!). Thanks to my US friends for hosting me ☺️ I can’t afford a US trip otherwise 😂

Thanks for sharing this. I will do the same. I did one last time, getting off at Singapore, I met a Filipina who is off work, she took me to the Plaza, the Garden, Santosi? Island, we ate, ride taxis, stroll, fun! And still made it back to Singapore airport snd see the jewel at Chianti airport. This time, I will do Hawaii!

Yes, Mamsy. Andami kalachuchi trees, may bougainvillea pa at san francisco/crotons. Yung monstera kaka shock. Anglalaki! At kahit san lang. sa lupa rin nakatanim.

Hi po san niyo po iniwan luggages niyo?? I have a 12 hour layover in Honolulu and I wanted to roam around and got o Waikiki beach as well! 😅

Hi. Apologies for the late reply. After going through Customs, lalabas po kayo sa terminal sa Honolulu (ground floor). Go to the 2nd floor via the stairs/escalator. Punta po kayo sa terminal ng airline nyo. Yung ANA nasa dulo so mega lakad. Kung naka check in na po kayo all the way to final destination nung nag check in kayo sa Pinas, diretso na po kayo sa counter at mag bag drop. Kung separate ticket nyo nung binili nyo, which I doubt, may check in booths na manually maka check in kayo. 9 hours po yung layover ko ata, nadelay lang flight ko leaving pinas kaya na shorten stay sa Honolulu. I believe the same process ang mag apply sa inyo since hindi naman malayo ang 9hrs ko sa 12hrs nyo hehe. Hindi tulad sa Pinas na may time mag open ang check in/bag drop counter, dun laging bukas kasi andaming flights. Sana po helpful. Safe travels!

@@zearaiza oww i see :)) omg. Exciting! So if ever po di naka tag yung checked in bagggages ko and manually ko po siya i-checked in anytime po?? Niceeeeu. May pang carry on luggages locker/baggage counter po ba kayo napansin sa airport? 😅

Hi! You think 6 hr layover is enough to go to waikiki beach via shared shuttle? I will be flying via United Airlines all the way. From honolulu to SFO, 3 hrs pa rin po ba before the flight dapat nasa airport or pwede 2? Mabilis lang po ba check in to immigration? Not sure kasi if diredirecho na luggage namin to final destination or need pa check in again. 7:37

did you have to take your luggage with you when you left the airport?

Hi Adonis. I did not bring my luggage sa gala. I had to take it though after passing through Customs. Magkaiba kasi ang terminal ng arrival at terminal for departure. I dropped my luggage sa terminal for my next flight which was bound for Texas bago ako gumala. Fine with them kahit matagal yung layover.
