Beautiful Wyatt ❤ My 12.5 year old Shiloh Shepherd needs a stroller to lie down in due to her spinal issues..... do you have recommendations on a stroller/bike trailer for her? She is about 90 pounds. She wouldn't be able to sit up in one very long.... that's why she needs to lie down. The only one I have found online is the Booyah Extra large.... I think she could lie down in that one. Your help is appreciated. P.S. Trouble was my shep/husky mix..... he was a tripawd... I found your group in 2007 when he had his leg amputated.

Ohhh my gosh nice to hear from you! Welcome back! Sooo sorry your Shiloh is having spinal issues. The stroller Wyatt is in is the Solvit Houndabout II. There's a review on our Tripawds Gear blog. It's supposed to hold up to 100 pounds of dog, but I would reinforce the bottom with a stronger substrate (we did for Wyatt). Not sure if your pup could lie down in it. Wyatt never laid down, he was always ready to leap out, but if your dog is not as tall as him she might lie down. Let us know if you give it a try.

@@tripawds Thank you.... I visited your web site.... It seems that no one makes a stroller long enough for a large dog to lie down comfortably. I need something at least 41 inches long for Angel to be comfortable.... all the images I've seen of big dogs lying down they have their paws hanging over the edge. Wish someone made one that I could get for Angel.

@@DogsLuvUNoMatterWhat I am so sorry! Yes I saw that too. Luckily Wyatt was never so inclined to lay down. The other day saw someone made a DIY GSD stroller by using Costco-type flatbed cart (lighter though) and securely attaching the dog's crate on top. Maybe you can rig something like that?

We also have a German Shepherd mix Tripawd! We were thinking of buying the stroller conversion kit as well. Would you mind giving your thoughts on it? Any issues? A how-to video on converting it from a trailer to a stroller would also be helpful.

This stroller is meant to hold up to 120 pounds, so if she's under that, then yes. I do recommend an extra bottom board though, to make it more solid when pushing a heavier pup. Good luck!

Looks fantastic but Im really looking for something from the UK that is this robust . Been waiting for burley to get back to us for over a year now so hence why started looking else where
