I did it March 31, 2024 with Virgin. Video captured it all. The only Money we needed was to Tip and if you wanted a drink or beer at the Bar. Lunch was amazing. A Full, prepared, hot meal. Great service. Our tour guides were awesome, from start to finish.

You did a great job capturing the waterfalls. I did the 21 waterfalls tour without the other activities 7 years ago with my 6 year old at the time. We did all the slides and jumps except the biggest jump. We went down the ladder instead of doing the jump. I remember thinking we should've just jumped...that ladder was so old and it was scary climbing down.

Wish I had seen this b4 our Excursion. The water was murky when we did the Excursion. We had a hot lunch after the zip line & waterfall. Our shoes and lunch was included in the Excursion. Go Pro Camera is a plus. We did Virgin Voyages. Your video captured it well.

Hi! And thanks for stopping by! No there will be no time or place to change in between. Women mostly wore bathing suits with coverups and men wore dry-fit shorts and swim trunks. There’s walking in between and it was hot so we dried off quickly in that light material clothing :)

Thanks for sharing this! I'm doing this similar excursion on a cruise soon. Did you see any snakes on the hike/waterfalls? Snakes are one of my biggest fears. Were you able to to use the restroom in between activities? Looks like you were able to access your lockers between the waterfalls and the buggy? How much were the professional pics/videos? We didn’t see any snakes while we were doing this excursion. You were able to use the restroom in between. We were a little behind with our excursions so we had to rush. If I’m not mistaken, the photo and video packages were about $40.

Where did you keep your sunglasses? Do you stop back at the lockers in the middle at any point? What are you using to hold your go pro?

All of our belongings had to be placed in the lockers that was far far away from the excursion. We were allowed to take GoPro’s, waterproof cameras, and our cell phones if they were in a waterproof phone case. No, we had no chance to stop back at the lockers at any point until after the excursion, which is several hours long. My GoPro was attached to a selfie stick type device. There are many kinds available on Amazon!

Thanks for the support. The vests in our opinion did a decent job keeping you afloat. We do recommend if you aren’t somewhat of a swimmer this wouldn’t be good for you because the water is really deep at some points of the excursion.

Yes, the vest keep you floating. If you cannot swim, they will grab you and guide you out the water. Do it!! You do not need to know how to swim.

Honestly, you do have to know how to “somewhat” swim. There will be times during the excursion where the water will be deep and you’ll need to know how to tread through it to get to the next. I hope this helps. ❤️🛳️

Great questions. This excursion does provide lockers for you before it begins. This is where you can leave your phone and other items. During the falls you are able to wear whatever you want. We recommend whatever you wear make sure it’s light and dri-fit. During our excursion, we didn’t have time to change. So whatever we wore during the falls is what we kept on during the buggies. You are allowed to take cellular phones with you during the buggies tour. We recommend if you have a small go pro or similar to take that instead. The buggies can be very bumpy, muddy and wet. There weren’t any restrooms during the excursions. However, there were restrooms where the lockers were. I hope this helps. Happy cruising. ❤️🛳️

Just booked a version of this excursion for this November (waterfalls and buggies is sold out online, but I’m going to try and upgrade when I get aboard). All of your videos about NCL and Encore have been super helpful! Do you remember how strict they were about shoes? I was hoping to wear my Chaco sandals which strap on very tight and won’t budge but I noticed in other comments that sandals weren’t allowed!

Thanks for your support. We’re glad the videos helped. While we were on this excursion, we noticed all kinds of footwear. Some even had on regular tennis shoes. I think the biggest thing they harped on was closed toe shoes. Hope this helps. You will love this excursion. ❤️

I want to do this excursion for my next cruise. Question, is the water deep? When you slide down, can you stand up in the water or do you have to swim? I’m asking because we can’t swim. Good question. The water is deep in certain parts of the waterfall excursion. We recommend if you’re not somewhat of a decent swimmer, then I’d pass on this one. Of course they provide life vests but if you’re not at least decent at swimming you could get nervous at how deep some of the parts are. Hope this answers your question. ❤️

This one was $199 per person. Don't bring a lot because everything will go in a locker anyway and the locker is small (Locker is $8 and helmets are free). The only thing I would bring is an action camera if you have one, your cell phone is fine but have it around your neck in one of those waterproof phone cases you can record and take photos in ($14.99 in the cruise gift shop) and a towel from the ship. You can wear your own water shoes but they must be very tight because they can easily fall off of your feet. You can rent some special ones they have that won't fall off for only $8. Basically, bring nothing but your phone and cash for the small buffet they will have!

This excursion is listed as 7 hours, but the ship i'm on is scheduled to be docked for 8 hours...did you have any issues with the time? Did you make it back onto the ship with enough time or just barely made it on?

That’s a great question. This excursion was booked through NCL. The good thing about booking through the cruise line is if you do run into an issue where the excursion runs over time, they will wait for you to return before leaving. That’s why we usually book directly through the cruise line just in case this does happen. Luckily we have never ran into an issue with excursion times running over. On this particular one we did make it back to the ship and had enough time to look around the port shopping area. Hope this answers your question and thanks for the support! ❤️

Yes! You still wear the same water shoes throughout the entire excursion, even on buggies, because you don’t visit the lockers until every thing is done. No you cannot wear sandals, but you can bring your own water shoes. Just make sure the water shoes fit very well or they will definitely fly off your feet during the waterfall part. I like the water shoes they provide because they were high on the ankle and didn’t feel like they were going to fall off at all!
