I think a lot has to do with Triple H being that he was a major performer himself, he knows what it's like to be a talent. What he would have liked to have seen when he was active as a wrestler, as he knows all the things he missed in life dedicating himself to be a wrestler and probably regretting a lot of it because some of those are moments that only come once in our lives. So he can really relate to the talent and empathize with them when it comes to being a wrestler. That's most likely why if you notice, wrestlers are able to take time off now, able to spend time with their family, and be accommodated by having couples be on the same show (This started with Vince but seems more important to Triple H )

When Rhea returned to RAW last Monday, it would have been so much better to have had a close up of her face when she first emerged, then panned back to a distant shot of her walking down. Rather than seeing her from a distance just walking out, and not being able to see the close up look on her face the very first moment she laid eyes on both Dom and Liv in person.

Triple H was never the real problem for CM Punk. If you look at how positive the vibe is among the talent and the refreshing product, you would know Punk's issues were actually with Vince McMahon. Hunter just happened to be the guy that Punk took it out on because Vince was his father in law and Punk probably wasn't allowed to get physical with Vince.

CM Punk called Triple H out on it in 2011 during their rivalry. It became personal because nobody had ever called Hunter out on TV for burying talent. Triple H did have problems controlling his own ego right up until he stopped wrestling full time. Also If you remember, Punk pointed out that Hunter had to marry Stephanie to stay" on top" in WWE.

He literally couldn't have, Bret was the biggest draw in the company for most of the early 90's, especially when the HBK and Diesel runs saw a dip in the ratings and PPV buys. They trashed him behind the scenes yes, but HHH was in no position to mess with Bret, Bret probably could've actually buried him had he wanted to.

The truth was he has always been the same but for some reason was being held back and that apparently was hhh and vince fault, or if you read closer maybe vince. Made hundreds of thousands of extra viewers watch WWE's TV just for his talking segments. Among other things. Changed the entire booking of the top of the card in a promotion he doesn't work for anymore, just by giving one interview to Ariel Helwani.
