Wonderful sound and vision, so beautifully restored. Who would have thought that they would still run so well 100 years after they were built. Congrats to all involved .

Can you believe the muppet who does not even look up from his mobile phone as 3 locos pass over his head?

Very well shot Adam! Taking off from the standing start in the haunted hills was very impressive.

i had the pleasure of riding on this train, in 1 BCE. i think the worst parts of the trip were waiting at hernes oak for 2 hours after K153 chucked a rod, and the final leg of the up journey from pakenham to melbourne (i was fucking tired as hell). the roundhouse photo shoot was fun though.

Nice video mate. I saw it at Pakenham on the down trip. You got some nice photos of it as well. I was going to see the return trip at cardinia road but decided to call it quits as it was very delayed.

No, The drivers just pulled the train up and had the emergency brake applied for no reason at all.

@@troller2908 the connecting rod on K100 did come off which is why it was delayed and then had to run at a reduced speed

@@lachlansmith1522 The connecting rod came off as it was removed by Steamrail locomotive service crew, it was not the part that broke.
