Only video that answer questions about old vga multiple screens however it went very fast, not clear close shots of what goes into what, try to take the music off and do it again more slowly with close shots. A lot of people need this.

I plugged in 2 monitors to my laptop after purchasing an adapter where 2 hdmi cords can plug in and the other end of the adapter plugs right in to my hdmi drive on the laptop. BUT all 3 monitors (including the laptop) show the same thing. The display settings do not detect another monitor plugged in. Please help.

Do you have a dp output? only laptops that have gpus have them. dp is display port which has a symbol on it you can look it up and most laptops that has the dp has the mini dp. if you do have a dp follow these steps. First try taking out the usb to hdmi and see if it detects. You can tell if you go to the screen settings and at the top it says 1 2 . Now if it does work if you have a mini dp to normal dp laying around try plugging it it the the dp screen. If you don't have one and you want 3 displays than I will suggest buying a mini dp port to hdmi port. Than test it and see if it works if it doesn't try trouble shooting.

Yes, if you are using laptop with Intel, you can just go to Intel Graphics Control Panel》Right click mouse from home screen 》 Display, from Display settings of each monitor, you can set up screen resolution. You can check all the display settings of each monitors and see if the screen resolution is set to your preferred resolution 😊

I have both, VGA port and HDMI port. The only problem is, when I attach VGA cable to VGA port, there's insufficient space for HDMI cable to be attached. VGA's head itself already close half of HDMI port. Thanks Asus for this brilliant product.

All you needed was an HDMI - VGA splitter since your PC takes HDMI and the two other monitors VGA. Splitters are available from 2-way to 8-way splitters. VGA and DVI in 2020?

Assuming that you are using laptop to connect two monitors. Also i believe your laptop already have HDMI input. so you can connect one monitor directly using HDMI cable to this laptop. if you don't have hdmi cable then you can buy it on walmart or amazon for $10. Then You can buy one VGA to USB adaptor to connect your second monitor. You can also buy this adaptor in amazon or walmart online. just search VGA to USB adaptor. it costs like $20. these days walmart is faster in shipping than amazon due to corona virus.

OUTDATED, don't do this! The dongle is expensive and the VGA technology is not just on the way out, it's out. (and bad). If your comp has USB-C out, just get a multi-display hub, or send one video output through that and the other through the hdmi, or via displayport/thunderbolt, or some combo thereof via cheap adapters. SO many better options lol. Only saying it cuz this came up from a generic search.

@@torogipro I got the HDMI to VGA for the left monitor and the right monitor has the Wavlink with the VGA adapter with the VGA going to that monitor and that Wavlink going the the Blue USB on the laptop. The left monitor is a copy of the laptop and the right monitor shows my desk top with no mouse, just the standard background, not even the background the other two screens have. I opened display on my settings and it shows 1 and 2 together like a split screen and one by itself. You know how on yours when opening display it shows #1, screen, #2 screen and #3 screen Mine shows 1 and 2 together sharing the little screen in display and the 3 with it's own screen. So basically the display settings shows 2 screens the two that are the same monitor and the other one that's showing the desk top only. Also not sure what your doing when you dragged the screens over, it looks like you did the windows button and slid the mouse pad with one finger. I couldn't figure that out ether. I Hope What I Just Said Makes Sense.😕

Got it. Your laptop detects 2 screen only, connect your screen one at a time so that we can figure out which one is not getting detect/not working. 2nd on the issue that your have like split screen , change the setting to extended monitors. Let me know what happens next.

Please help me, primary monitor ko kasi yung nasa laptop, tapos may dalawang secondary monitor (tv) na naconnect via vga cable sa splitter na naconnect sa laptop. Tapos yung 3rd monitor na gagawin ko sanang pang stage display, kinonnect ko sa laptop via hdmi cable. Ang problema ko po, nababasa lang ng screen resolution setting yung 1 and 2, pero yung 3 naka gray na siya. hindi ko maextend or kung ano man.
