I am a very low level Pokemon trainer.......... His videos help me a lot...... I am a Pokemon fan but I often lack strategies ater seeing his videos I modify his ideas and win.... In the video he uses kanghiskhan as the last Pokemon but I use it as the first ( kanghiskhan, graveller, raichu ) as my one has access to outrage so if I met any dragonite they might underestimate the charged attack of kanghiskhan and I would eventually overcome that dragonite........ And this even happened.... BTW thanks a lot zyoink... Huge fan

Nice team Z! Also what i do is not make a GBL team at all and allow the game to randomly choose 3 pokemon for me since it's Kanto cup 😂 I have gotten absolutely insane and sometimes down right ridiculous teams. The unpredictability makes the match up very exciting.

Kangaskhan is so fun. That's why I kept venusaur for safe swap and alolan marowak in the back. The main thing that the teams struggle with is dragons and hypno but it should be fine if they can land the charge move. Great video!

I really feel like this Kanto cup really highlighted the normal pokemon, because I have been having an amazing run with alolan muk, wigglytuff, Pidgeot and the pidge is just murking all the ghosts and grass. The fighters have just been quitting. I am sad I can't gain rank from these, because it would be worth it.

I also ran triple normal since the first time we had Kanto Cup, because fighters are not common because of the Marowak, Charm and Hypno dominance. But I ran Wigglytuff, Snorlax and Alolan Raticate.

This is what kanto cup is for. You can create fun teams, even if you lose a few battles the ELO is not affected, I really like this idea. BTW People stop using double charm teams

It still has the rewards and the wins are still counted towards the statistics so 95% of the people will treat it as ranked. I would love a casual mode but I bet that would overload servers.

I like how you mentioned running Earthquake on Snorlax, love one shotting A Waks who NEVER sheild. Usually the same scenario, they run Mew in the lead I swap in Lax, and just do lick damage and they throw a wild charge (I don't sheild) and swap into A Wak, and by then I usually have a EQ ready. And then "BOOM"...😁

Zyonik, first time asking for your opinion. I have to choose between two alolan muks for ultra league to power up. First shiny one (6/8/10 2494 cp), second (3,15,13 2500 cp). Shiny gives more satisfaction, second has better stats for pvp. Is those stats rly matter so much ? Which to power up?

Hey Zyonik - swap Snorlax for AMuk for coverage against Charm - plays the same role of being an anti-Hypno and anti-Marowak + draws out fighters to let Khan roam. Bonus get to Sludge wave Charmers - not sure if its enough against triple charm though

I've ran into triple charmers a lot. Beedrill takes no shit from charmers. With kanto raichu lead launch a wild charge they never block it and there's one charger down and beedrill can take care of the other 2

Been running pidgeot but the fast has such a long animation that most opponents are getting 5 move charged attacks off before I can complete 2 fast moves, it's infuriating.

@@phatmattd yeah I notice that in the lapras switch matchup, just wait for BB to throw, tank it, 2 ice shards before one fast move most occasions. It must be annoying!! Still a great counter to most in the back, especially a wak and grass.
