Once, on a really light day at Disney World, (I had magic morning hours) I rode the Rock 'n' rollercoaster 16 times in a row. The cast members said I must've broken the record lmao

I rode the cyclone fifty-one years ago. I think I rode at least twice; it truly deserves its fame and reputation as one of the best of the classic “woodies”. I am now sixty-nine; perhaps I ‘ll get to relive that thrill before leaving this life? Perhaps? PWG

3 rides in a row? Sure. First time with my hands in the air! Second time, clutching the hand bar & bracing. Third time, with a neck brace, in a Snugli, after a Dramamine. THANKS TPR for this joyride on my favorite hometown coaster. (But what the heck with that Warning Sign: 'Remain Seated & Do not Rest Head on Lap Bar.' ?!? NEVER saw THAT ONE...and how scary that enuf riders indulged in this that a sign was required. Bwahahahaha!) Long live the never-changing 'n ever-changing CYCLONE!

I'm supposed to be coming to the USA for the 1st time ever in September to visit Disney world and universal studio's florida. For my 50th birthday. I'm praying this awful pandemic is over soon . I heard after GCI renovated three coaster, it runs much smoother and is an entirely different beast. It’s so interesting how some prefer it in its original roughness prior to the renovation and others like it better now. It’s all subjective and how tough your bones really are.

my friend & I rode 31 times in one day. most back to back rides in the front car. late in the day the Cyclone actually came to a dead stop on the upper Surf Ave. horseshoe turn. you can read about this and a whole lot more in my book Roller Coaster Kids; Tales of 1960s Coney Island. PS. I was probably the last kid to go on a ride in Steeplechase Park...all these stories are in my epic book. Oh, yeah, we rode all day NO HANDS!! only held on for dear life on the jarring turns.

Poor girl tho, i think she also only found out about his death like 3 months after he had died..

I went on Yukon striker at Canada’s wonderland 10 times over and over (not staying on though, I kept getting off then going back in the single rider line which there was barely anyone and kept going back on and did that 10 times) it wasn’t packed that day and the single rider line is fast af. So so fun

I remember going to Coney Island amusement park in the year 2000 and I would see that roller coaster but I wasn't old enough to ride it because I was only 10 and I was very small for my age I guess people thought I was 5 lol my grandfather actually live in Brooklyn I guess he lives not too far from the island I would also see a train go past there. The only rides I've been to at the time were the ones that spin around I don't know the name of that ride and I was on the bumper car with my older sister. I'm not really a big fan of roller coasters neither is my mom but this is something my younger sister would go on I guess she's used to going on tall roller coasters.

Can you do a comparison between the Coney Island Cyclone and the Coaster at the PNE in Vancouver? They seem very similar. The Cyclone is a little longer than the Vancouver Coaster, but they seem to be constructed in a similar way.
