A few questions if you do not mind. Are you working with ordinary cars for normal use or preparing them for some racing? What is the future of the cars that leave your workshop? What happes to the resource of the car, how much wear and tear of units and assemblies during operation and using? Thank you!

Hi. I'm just a random commenter, not from Darkside developments. They do a tune or build depending on the customer requirements. A daily driver (which most are) will get a different tune than a track car. I believe with many power upgrade you don't need to upgrade much other than turbo intercooler etc typically. They have some videos where they have to do big transmission builds to keep from blowing up. Hopefully someone from Darkside could say

Hi, I was wondering if I get my DPF removed or cut, gutted, and shut. Could I have a neutral gear rev limiter set on my car's ECU? I have a 2010 Audi A4 2.0tdi B8 CAGA 143bhp stock with a eco remap 168bhp. The reason I am asking is my DPF has done 116k miles and is due to fail. Now as much as I would love to pay lots of money to save the polar bears from starving. I would rather use rusty cheesewire to take off my hairy sack. But getting back to removing the DPF, if I had a stationary rev limiter. Passing the MOT emissions test would be much easier. I would love to get your advice and know how, kind regards Jon from North Wales 😀👍🏴

Foot pound and pound foot are exactly the same Matt.
@mattclarke67734 жыл бұрын
@@alxgu198 The “pound-foot” (lb-ft) is a unit of torque and a vector measurement that is created by one pound of force acting on a one foot lever. The formula for torque in the instance of tightening a fastener would be: Torque equals force times radius, or T=FR. When tightening a bolt, “R” would be the length of your wrench. The “foot-pound” (or more accurately, “foot-pound-force”), on the other hand, is a measurement of work. Work is the measurement of force over a given distance. So one foot-pound-force (ft-lbf or just ft-lb) is the energy required to move a one pound object one foot of linear distance
