This definitely fixed everything wrong with the original part, Knuckles is way more audible so his voice doesn't blend in with the instrumental anymore. This is a great revamp and I'm sad to see the mod get canceled but I understand and respect their decision.

I love how this part of the song is changed to solve one of the big problems of the previous version, which was Knuckles' voice being so low to the point that the instrumental was louder than him, which for some may have taken away the symbolic value that ''low'' voice and weak had, however I have to disagree, and here's why: Knuckles, in the official and canonical lore of Sonic.EXE, died a very painful and humiliating death while trying to attack Xenophanes directly and without any plan, and as seen in his model, we can see how his fur has darkened from its lush bright red to a darker, almost brick red, along with his sclera, which has darkened considerably and his pupil changing from its usual color to a blood red, with also one of his hands missing from having been dismembered probably by EXE, but the most impressive of his new form it's his face, which looks all melted and deformed, as if his skin had overgrown or melted to cover a good part of his mouth, in addition to the eternal and engraved expression of a mocking smile on his face, in a distorted form of Xeno to make fun of Knuckles' miserable and sad situation by making him forever assume a mocking expression at his suffering, when all he probably most wants is to finally rest and be out of EXE's control, but obviously that's why his expression is so ironic, precisely because he is sad and depressed by his fate, he is forced to keep a happy and sarcastic expression all the time, to mock his current situation, which you have probably gotten used to, as the way he acts is an indication of that. This could also be one of the reasons why his voice, in both versions of Triple Trouble, always seemed kind of hollow and distant in contrast to the other characters in Triple Trouble, where in Tails' case there was a certain sadness and melancholy, and in Robotnik's case. there was Eggman's familiar bombastic narcissism and humor, in the case of Knuckles, his voice always sounded resigned, almost as if he had no real will behind it, as if he had accepted that this would be his fate forever and that nothing mattered anymore, therefore, he just blindly followed Xenophanes' orders without any disagreement, which could give reasons as to why his voice was so low in the original version. Except that his voice starts to increase in crescendo and tempo from the middle of the song, right after the harmonization between him and BF, as if that had awakened something more in him, and then we started to hear a lot more emotion and desire from the voice of Knuckles, mainly due to the fact that the tempo of the song increases and he starts reciting and singing his theme from Sonic Adventure 1, ''Unknown From M.E'', and so the singing becomes increasingly difficult as Echidna uses his all against BF, not in a way to kill him, but maybe in a way to challenge him to see if he really was up to Sonic.EXE and if he could defeat the others who would come after him, with the music ending afterward of Knuckles giving everything he could and getting tired of it.

After listening to this track, I think there's a main takeaway from the aftermath of both FNF:Entity and this mod. It's about the dangers of making the mod overambitious and putting quantity over quality. Had the EXE team stick with a decently sized roster for V3, it could've gone differently. But sadly, its a reality that was impossible to be in. I'm still thankful for Jack. exe/Dusk for releasing of the incomplete build and most of the former members of the Sonic.exe team for showcasing their work that now have no use (most that are publicly available, all while others had refused to release their work for EXE) and hopefully get time away from the hell they dug themselves into. The journey was wild to see in a short space of time, but the only one way Sonic.EXE can end isn't with an escape sequence. The bitter way this mod could go out, is for most to leave the mod behind and move on.

I hate picking a favorite part on Triple Troble because I really love the song as a whole and all the parts togheter is what makes the OG song my favorite FNF song, but if I HAD to pick, it would probably be Knuckles part And this encore remix... GOD, IT SLAPS! You picked everything right about this part, fixed all problems that the original part had, and made an awesome remix that sounds AMAZING! God, even the Unknown from ME motif was keept, and that's so nice Hope one day we can at least get the Sonic.exe main week encore songs, I will not demand anything from any of the composers, if they just decide to drop and never touch in it anymore, it's ok, but if they want to finish the songs and decide to release that will be so nice, I would love it.

It set a standard for mods but also showed just how easily corruptible and deplorable a lot of people in the community are, and also showed how bloating can be the downfall of even the greatest mods, they had over 60 people working on 2.5/3.0, 10 people of which didn’t even have a job to do yet, at the end of the day though, these developers deserve to move on from this shit show, they’ve been under such horrific stress and been badgered daily by a god awful community to the point where the people making what is undeniably one of the most popular mods, lost all passion and drive for creation.
