I dont know why triptychs always give me so much trouble! I loved the colors I mixed together. I am going to do this more often for sure, I get tired of regular tube colors! There are so many possibilities! Hope you guys like it!

MOLLY'S ARTISTRY I feel that the reason why triptychs cause you so much frustration and trouble, is because, you want it to come out perfect, and also that you want it to be consistent, but I've learned that no matter what your painting and or creating, the most important thing to remember is to ALWAYS have fun when being creative and expressing yourself, worry about the composition and the structure of the painting later after the piece is completed! And even then after it's completed, be content and happy with what has been created, every mistake that has occurred in a painting was mean to be there for a reason, to either teach us a lesson or to encourage us to continue with what we are passionate about! I love watching your process. I am new to this and need to get more comfortable troubleshooting when things don’t flow the way I intended. I mix my own colors often, mostly due to necessity because my supplies are limited-but i do find that i go through more paint trying to achieve the exact shade of whatever is in my head-which is fine, i just save excess for future. Again-thanks for being so generous in sharing your process!

I mix my own. I like adding silver to other colors bc it gives it a neat shine look to them. I love watching all of you other artists on here. Helps me when I struggle and think I’m the only one having trouble.

Yes, I pike adding gold as well to some of the colors, greens, blues and reds because of its luster! I will have to try adding silver, thank you!

I LOVE This Molly!, and yes, I mix my own paints, I use Glidden interior flat, my best results since using it, I love the cells and lacing. It's unique, creating my own style. Still having FUN! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I did watercolors for 25 years. Needless to way how I love mixing my colors. The only difference: it takes much longer to mix acrylic. But I have been following you for 3 months now and you inspire me greatly. Thank you for that and keep doing those triptych, you are getting so good... 🙋🏻 💕

I love watching Olga Soby but i relate to your because your messy like me! haha paint everywhere, even hairdryer! I use a cheap $1 plastic shower curtain as a table cover, it so easy to scrape off excess paint *which i collect and put in a bottle, which is usually brown or darker colors once mixed together.. but waste not want not... Yes! Thank you for tip on how to fix end of canvas edges and how to spend paint with dryer. Yes how you handle the dryer also to get effect s and angle also to spread paint. And make sure it's very fluid also. I had that issue with my paint this morning but I chose to work manually with it not use dryer to get more designs in it. I do like torch for cells. But I don't feel comfortable using that tool use. I tend to burn myself . I can't BBQ food either . So I skip that process and use other options. Creative thoughts as I feel lead to use on painting. But I like pour method different way to apply paints it's challenge for me. So I continue using this method . Until I run out of paint. And replace with other colors. So yes nice picture s you made .

I just watched this video, and I noticed you have the blow dryer on low and you hit the burst button for a kick, and mixing colors is fun I mix colors all the time, my dad was a painter and I was always playing in it then as I got older I started painting project and that was when I figured out mixing colors is great !!! Love your work.

You know this reminds me of last nights conversation. I was drawing and working away at an art piece with a face coming out of a old mouldy brick wall and another side leaves. So I said "Well she is finally coming together well. The eye are not right. One is higher than the other." He turned to his friend and says. " See she does this art and everyone says ""oh this is beautiful"" and she points out what is wrong. Yet I look at it as an art piece not ""oh you did that part wrong" I look at it as a whole and it is really pretty."" Perhaps that may help you here. I am my worse critic and from where I am looking at this I see a beautiful piece of art. Love the colour combo even if you had issues. Art is a way to express yourself. That being said art is also very finicky. No matter how much we try to get the image out of our heads and on canvas or a sketchpad it does not always interpret well to us. Yet others will see how amazing it is. This is just a perfect example of this. I love your honesty, the way you create your work. Kudos to another beautiful painting.

👋 Molly . Very pretty piece today sometimes having to work for it shows people it’s not just throwing some paint on we do have to work for a good result. My favourite colour combo is Primary Red, dash of Prussian Blue and a drop of black . Makes a what I call Black Doris Plum. I use it in my Filp and Lip pours. Prays and thoughts with weather heading your way. 🙏 .Karen NZ

I like your tríptico and the colors are very pretty!👏👏🤩I tried to do one today and I did an ugly paint that then I had to fix but was a disaster! My hairdry didn’t have the plastic of the nozzle and the paint was a little thicker so..the result ...I’m waiting for tomorrow to put a topcoat of gesso to start again!🍀🎨👩‍🎨😄
