Love Daryl but man this was butchered... still love the song tho. Like he just rocked up with little to no prep or vocal warm-up work or something. Hella difficult song to sing live so I get it

Not saying this is a complete fail but given his range and past live performances, this felt like a let down is all. Then again, this particular track/song must feel overly done for Daryl. This particular performance definitely has that vibe to it imho. Personally for me, this is one of he’s most globally recognisable tracks/song. I wonder how he felt about this performance after the fact 🤔 It reminds me similarly to he’s hey mate telethon 2018 live performance but without the Daryl antics, heart & soul as per usual with most artists live renditions. Still a classic, and I would hate if the late comer(s) were to think this is the song so many ppl came to love and adore so dearly.
