There were 14 members when we the fans voted to place 7 each into 2 subunits we get to hear their snippets for both of 2 subunits title track. The subunits were LOVElution and EVOLution but there was a twist. S15 the 15 member was already locked in LOVElution and S16 the 16th member was already locked on EVOLutiomln but even tho they werent revealed yet so that makes up 8 each. By the way EVOLution is already getting ready for their debut on OCT 14th. And yes S15 and S16 are already both revealed.

They're gonna have X amount of subunits. Every once in a while, the company holds an event where they reveal 2 subunits and we the fans decide who gets in one unit. They give us two members to choose between and whoever has more votes in one unit makes that unit. Units are temporary. However if the unit reaches 100k album sales by the end of the promotion period that unit will become permanent and can have occasional comebacks

Fans vote who goes into which sub-unit and every member will be put in a sub-unit each era. It changes everytime they have a comeback, so every unit is a one-off basically and member combinations and sub-unit names will change when it's time to do new comebacks, so no units are ever the same and fresh with new combinations. LOVElution is one of two 8-member units for this comeback era, the 2nd one is on its way. All songs belong to the whole group and not just one sub-unit, so every member will learn it and can perform it at concerts, festivals, etc. Sounds like they will do full group comebacks maybe once a year
