Wow! I love that small laser! Proves that you can have a powerful laser in a small form factor. Also I like the knife where you cleaned the surface. Great video!

Yeah, I am amazed that the can fit a 30w fiber in such a small package! Definitely one of my favorite lasers.

Awesome video! It sucks that you got some "bum" coins but from a viewer standpoint, it was nice to see how quality material makes a major difference! The knife was really nice. I was impressed with the way it all lined up! Looked great!!!

Yeah, was not happy when I did a reorder and received cheap brass coated coins. I love how the knife came out as well! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Would you buy this machine over the xtool f1 . Im looking for fiber
@TripodsGarage29 күн бұрын
@@bclp52 - What specifically are you looking to engrave? The F1 only has a 2W IR, so this would be significantly more powerful. If I was just looking for a fiber, then yes, I would buy this over it.

@TripodsGarage ty for adding context to the difference. I'm definitely leaning on the true fiber side now. Thanks a bunch 🙏🏿

@TripodsGarage and metal marking is mainly what I what to be able to do

@@bclp52 - It is a real nice machine, and with the discount you are getting a lot for the money. Be warned, fiber lasers are addictive 😂

Thank you so much for the video. How do you actually manage to position the knife blade to have the design directly on it?
@TripodsGarage25 күн бұрын
I used the laser’s galvo preview/outline. As you can see it was pretty darn accurate 👍

@@TripodsGarage makes sense, thank you so much for your answer, which now leads me to my next question, then, how did you manage to create an engraving file that had the exact blade shape in the software!? 😅

certified means nothing since certifiying them is a hell of a price. Some brands simply just don't do it
@TripodsGarage20 күн бұрын
That is why you buy from a reputable brand. Not some cheap knockoffs.

@TripodsGarage I own a "cheap knock off" you don't know about cnc and electronics if you think the brand matters and not its conponents

@ When it comes to eye safety, I don’t do cheap.
@GAMEVUEG20 күн бұрын
@@TripodsGarage All machines come along with safety glasses, what are you talking about ? The laser source is the most important part. You can have a brand that sells a fiber laser at 4000€ and another at 2100€ with the same laser raycus source. Galvo head + software + safety glasses will never justify that price difference.
@TripodsGarage20 күн бұрын
@@GAMEVUEG- I really don’t care if you or someone else wants to use the included safety eyewear. I just chose not to, and use a safety certified brand. You do you.
